Tara Long, who launched Entertainment One’s U.S. unscripted TV business in 2012, has been promoted to President, Global Unscripted, Television for the studio.
The move comes after Long’s continued success at eOne in the U.S. with key broadcast partners including E!, Bet, We tv, A&E, MTV, Lifetime, VH1, Discovery Channel, and History, as well as growth in the UK following the acquisition of unscripted leaders Whizz Kid Entertainment.

Entertainment One has signed a first-look deal with David Solomini’s Crush+Lab to create non-scripted television content for the U.S. and international markets. In addition, former Original Prods. CEO Philip Segal, who executive produced such hits such as Deadliest Catch, Ice Road Truckers and Storage Wars, has joined Crush+Lab as Co-ceo.
Under the pact, eOne will serve as studio and will co-develop and co-produce projects with Crush+Lab. The deal comes on the heels of eOne’s acquisition of UK non-scripted leaders Whizz Kid Entertainment.
