- Enrique Bancalari is a Mexican film director, screenwriter, and producer. Bancalari was born into a Catholic family in Guadalajara on December 10, 1999, he is the son of an actor and theatre director Armando T. Bancalari and an actress Gabriela Salazar. When he was 4 years old Enrique learned to play the piano and later at the age of 10 he studied a grand variety of topics, and wrote his first movies
In 2010 Enrique started studying screenwriting and cinematography on his own. He recalled loving films from the Nouvelle Vague and learned about blocking from Wong Kar-wai movies. In 2012 he started filming homemade series & short films.
