The six-minute-long sex scene depicted in a recent Bridgerton episode has everyone talking, including the panelists of The View.
Joy Behar sparked a discussion of the sexy scene during Friday’s episode.
Sunny Hostin called the moment “beautiful,” and gave kudos that Colin (Luke Newton) asked Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) for her consent.
Ana Navarro stopped her right there. “Please don’t spoil it,” Navarro interjected. “I haven’t watched it yet!”
Alyssa Farah Griffin defended the scene, adding that Bridgerton’s sex scenes keep the audience tuned in for more.
Sara Haines mentioned that just watching the show gives her a funny feeling.
“The sensual nature in how the build-up is, it takes me places just watching it,” she said. “I can’t be alone!”
A laughing Behar declared, “This is one horny panel.”

The ladies of The View could use a fainting couch right about now.
Friday’s episode featured a conversation about a six-minute sex scene in the newly released second part of Bridgerton‘s third season, between Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin (Luke Newton), and the panel was divided over the necessity of it all. More specifically, Joy Behar — and only Joy Behar — felt that it went too far.

Everyone at The View is getting a summer refresh, with Whoopi Goldberg looking slim and fit, Sunny Hostin getting fresh clothing from a famous tag sale, and Sara Haines and her new hairdo.
It is nice to see changes in the ladies’ clothing choices and hairstyles since these topics have recently been heavily politicized.
When Sunny shared buying a Prada coat from a Bravolebrity like Jenna Lyons, it was a breath of fresh air instead of fighting over who will win the election later this year.
As Sara recently debuted a cute new perm on the show, fans flocked to X (formerly Twitter) and shared their opinions about her appearance.
Sara’s hair was so popular that Brian Teta, the executive producer of The View, started a poll on his X account.

On this morning’s The View broadcast, the hosts tackled an unusual advice segment: a woman asked for counseling on feeling guilty for turning down her brother’s invitation to his nude wedding. The hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin – unsurprisingly – had a field day. Goldberg quickly looked to Behar and said: “Now, Joy is the only person who can really speak to something like this.” Despite her experiences with nudity, Behar said she would also turn down the invitation. She cited that even her dermatologist doesn’t see her naked. “No one sees me naked,” she explained. “I met my husband at a semi-nudist colony and he hasn’t seen me naked since! I’m not going to go to a wedding naked. Nobody sees me naked.” Griffin posed her own question, attempting to get a grasp of ...

This morning The View was suddenly interrupted for an ABC special news report – leaving fans upset – just as the hosts were discussing Donald Trump‘s latest comments on Taylor Swift. The View hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin had just begun digging into the former president’s new book Apprentice in Wonderland: How Donald Trump and Mark Burnett Took America Through the Looking Glass in which he called the pop singer “unusually beautiful” but liberal.” “First of all he used the word ‘beautiful’ six times … He needs a thesaurus. Get some new words,” Behar said on the morning episode. “Besides that, he’s such a looksist too. He can’t believe that a beautiful girl like that would be on his team. That’s how narcissistic he is.” Haines ventured to call Trump a “fake conservative.” Behar replied: “I don’t know what he is.

The Golden Globe nominee surprised the hosts of The View as he and his mother, Tammy Reynolds, joined the live studio audience to watch the live recording of Monday’s episode.
“You never know what’s going on here at The View,” mused moderator Whoopi Goldberg in the clip. “Sometimes you look up and you go, ‘Oh, this is really great.’ And then you look over and you go, ‘Oh snap, there’s Ryan Reynolds!'”
The camera then found Reynolds and Mama Tammy in the audience, as he noted being in the audience “is way less stressful than up there.”
“My mom is here visiting her grandkids,” he explained. “And yesterday, she said, ‘It’s my dream to go to The View.’ … First off, I try to do what she says because you don’t know what she’s capable of.

Conservative commentator Meghan McCain invoked a famous quote from the 2005 film Brokeback Mountain while criticizing her former co-hosts on The View.
McCain, daughter of the late Sen. John McCain, took aim at Sara Haines in a tweet Thursday. It came after a fan posted a clip of Haines referencing an unnamed past View personality who got “mad about Dr. Fauci” during a discussion about Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene‘s criticism of the former Covid-19 adviser.
In the clip, Haines and current View cohosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin reacted to Greene’s criticism of Fauci during a chat about decorum in domestic politics.
“It started, I remember, here, with someone here, getting so mad about Dr. Fauci. It felt like it happened overnight. We went from a pandemic…” Haines said, without explicitly using McCain’s name, later trailing off to address Behar’s apparent confusion over the reference,...

Whoopi Goldberg Defends Harrison Butker’s Controversial Commencement Speech: “These Are His Beliefs”
Whoopi Goldberg and other View panelists are weighing in on Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker’s recent controversial commencement speech at Benedictine College.
The NFL player was slammed on social media this week for his speech to graduating students at the private Catholic school, where he condemned abortion, euthanasia, IVF, surrogacy and the LGBTQ community, as well as suggested that women should embrace being a “homemaker.”
After bringing up the controversy on Thursday’s episode of The View, Goldberg went on to defend Butker’s right to free speech, even if she doesn’t share the same beliefs and perspective.

Joy Behar doesn’t usually get flustered easily, but she was left hot under the collar on Wednesday’s (May 8) episode of The View when her co-hosts told her to read some sexy excerpts from Sunny Hostin‘s new novel. Promoting her new book Summer on Highland Beach, Hostin asked Behar to read some of the more steamier passages from the novel. Taking the book from Hostin, Behar did her best Dr. Ruth impression and read the first excerpt. “Desire hit her hard and fast. She was burning up, sparked by fire, lit by joy — really? — he’d forgotten how delicious spearmint tasted on her lips,” she read. The long-time comedian and TV personality managed to get through the first passage relatively unscathed. But the heat turned up a notch when Alyssa Farah Griffin urged her to “read the naughtier one.” “Oh, it’s so bad. You really want me to read that?...

Sen. Tim Scott (R-South Carolina) posted a video to X on Friday in which he accused The View hosts of “attacking” him for being the only black GOP senator.
“The ladies at The View are attacking me Again—this time for being the only Black Republican in the Senate,” Scott wrote. “But what they’re really afraid of is our momentum—the GOP is on the move in my community! God Bless America.”

A few months ago, Gypsy-Rose Blanchard appeared on The View after she was paroled from prison.
While she did not make another appearance on The View, recent events in her life prompted Joy Behar to bring her up again.
Joy got into trouble with fans for saying that Gypsy-Rose had no choice but to kill her mother and needed to be reminded by Ana Navarro that “murder is wrong” when Gypsy-Rose was on the show.
Gypsy-Rose has separated from her husband of two years just months after being released from prison and has found a new boyfriend, and the ladies on The View all have opinions.
People reported that Gypsy-Rose is back with an ex-fiance, and the ladies had a field day talking about “prison love.”
In a clip that Joy introduced on the show, Gypsy-Rose is heard saying she is “hopeful for the life I am going to make.

The cohosts of The View were back after a week-long vacation from the talk show and jumped right into a very hot “Hot Topic” at the top of Monday’s show: the ongoing, nationwide protests taking place across major college campuses in response to the ongoing violence between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. Moderator Whoopi Goldberg started out by framing the discussion with, “Obviously, and let’s be very clear about this, no one supports any anti-Semitic hate speech and students fearing for their safety. But do they have the right to peacefully protest about ending violence? Isn’t this part of being an American and also, standing up when you see something that’s wrong?” From there, Alyssa Farah Griffin was the first to offer her take, agreeing that the right to free speech and assembly is deeply protected in America. However, she argued that some of the protests are infringing on others’ rights,...

The View has been airing repeats all week, and fans are ready for new episodes to watch.
The hardworking ladies have taken a much-needed hiatus for Spring Break, leaving everyone with a week of rerun episodes.
By taking this time away from filming The View, the ladies should be coming back next week refreshed and ready to take on the hot topics robustly.
Fans were upset with the extended break the ladies took for Christmas. The last half of December was mostly old episodes, as reported by Monsters and Critics.
A few ladies have checked in on social media this week, letting fans know where they have been on vacation, while others have gone dark on the internet.
Sara Haines showed pictures of herself and her husband enjoying a break in Turks and Caicos.

While some surprises can be nice, The View fans were not okay with the network’s latest decisions. Recently, fans expressed their anger over the latest episode that was aired.
Scheduling Shake-Up
Unexpectedly, The View had a major scheduling mix-up that left fans up in arms. When the fans went to watch their regularly scheduled program, they were in for a rude awakening. Unbeknownst to them, the panelists were taking some time off the air. Little did they know, the episode airing was a month-old replay, but fans caught on quickly. Understandably, the sneaky move left many fans raging upon the discovery of the show not being live. Although fans are enraged, the daytime TV network is offering a return date to appease the masses in the meantime.

While power couple, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, are often swirling through the news, Whoopi Goldberg is ready to snooze on Travis. During a segment of The View, Whoopi talks about boredom with a hot topic over Travis and his online actions.
Whoopi Goldberg Thinks Talking About Travis Kelce’s Actions Is Boring
On Wednesday’s episode of The View, the panel was discussing one controversial topic over Travis Kelce. While Travis is usually in the news for football or association with his pop icon girlfriend, Taylor Swift, now he’s getting political. Whoopi Goldberg didn’t let a little play-off music stop her from finishing her impassioned thoughts on the state of current affairs in the United States on Monday’s episode of The View. The cohosts had some hotter-than-usual “Hot Topics” to start the show with — chiefly, the history-making beginning of the first criminal trial against Donald Trump in New York, who stands accused of crimes associated with a hush-money payment to an adult film star. The cohosts each presented their perspectives on the matter of Trump’s trial, largely agreeing that it is an “unprecedented” and “shameful” situation. They ran into some friction, however, when they got to the second segment of the discussion about New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu’s pledge to support Trump, even if he’s convicted on all of the dozens of crimes he is accused of in his four separate cases. Alyssa Farah Griffin, for one,...

There was little love for the divorcing Golden Bachelor couple on The View today, as the cohosts on ABC’s daytime talker took aim at ABC’s romance-for-seniors reality show.
“For six months you tortured me every Friday and made me talk about this topic, which I can’t stand because I think it’s manufactured and a complete crock,” said Ana Navarro about the View‘s weekly Golden Bachelor post-mortems. “So today I get to say, I told you so, I told you so, I told you so.”
Earlier today on ABC’s Good Morning America, Golden Bachelor couple Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist announced that they are getting a divorce just three months after their much-hyped televised wedding in January.
Navarro had previously spoken about her dislike for the Bachelor show and the genre, but cohost Sunny Hostin had been a fan. Past tense.

The View‘s “Hot Topics” segment got a bit personal for several of the cohosts, especially Sunny Hostin. In the episode, Hostin, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, and Alyssa Farah Griffin (note: Sara Haines was absen t Tuesday) talked about a viral video in which a woman contended that she was accused of not putting enough effort into her appearance by not wearing makeup. “I think that’s hard to tell [someone] because no one would ever ask a man why his face wasn’t made up, ever,” Goldberg said in reaction. “And to me, if I’m working on a pole, then you can talk to me about makeup. But if I’m working in a capacity where I have to talk to people and stuff, what does my face have to do with this? What does my makeup have to do with it?” Goldberg’s words were greeted with uproarious applause from the audience.
