One of the tools of the trade that 22-year-old domino artist Lily Hevesh shares with a group of families at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is the importance of a safety gap so that a spectacular domino creation doesn’t topple on itself before the cameras are rolling. It’s advice that, at a certain point of no return, becomes impossible to heed in one of the most crushing (pun intended) scenes taking place in Paris, one stop along Hevesh’s multi-continent journey.
Directed by Jeremy Workman––whose previous documentary The World Before Your Feet followed Matt Green’s quest to discover every street of New York from Manhattan to the deserted patches of Queens and Staten Island–– Lily Topples the World is an insightful crowd-pleaser sure to inspire a new generation of domino topplers. Following the adventures of Hevesh, who built a following for domino creations posting as Hevesh5 on YouTube...

Once again we have something that is supposed to be wholesome and great for children gone completely horrific. Cue Evil Little Things from Matt Green, an evil doll horror anthology written by Yasmin Bakhtiari and Nancy Knight. Uncork'd Entertainment is going to release Evil Little Things on DVD and Digital on May 12th. They released an official trailer and new poster. We have also included a gallery of images below. Oh. Zach Galligan, the Zach Galligan from the classic 80s holiday set horror Gremlins has a role in this flick as well. Though, by looking at the trailer he doesn't last long. Have a look for yourself and see if you agree. Zach Galligan (Gremlins) won’t be getting much sleep this May...

"There's a monster in my room." Uncork'd Ent. has unveiled an official trailer for an indie horror anthology feature titled Evil Little Things, the latest from indie horror filmmaker Matt Green. Described as a "deliciously wicked new horror anthology in the tradition of Creepshow", about freaky little toys and/or dolls that come to life and torment people. There is a leprechaun seeking revenge, a doll who goes after her owner, and a clown named Giggles. Evil Little Things stars Hannah Fireman, Courtney Lakin, Jonathan Horne, Piper Collins, L.A. Winters, and Zach Galligan (who played the boy in the Gremlins movies). Available to watch May on VOD for those interested in a slice of creepy horror in their home. Looks like an even crazier Child's Play about killer dolls. Here's the first official trailer (+ new poster) for Matt Green's Evil Little Things, direct from YouTube: A young boy finds...

"See where this ends up taking me..." Greenwich Entertainment has debuted the trailer for a documentary titled The World Before Your Feet, which originally premiered at the SXSW Film Festival earlier this year. The film is about a man named Matt Green (his website here), who became famous when the world learned that he has been walking around New York City in an ambitious attempt to walk down every block of every street in New York City. There are over 8,000 miles of sidewalks, paths and roads, and he has been strolling down all of them for the last six years. The film "tells the story of one man's unusual personal quest and the unexpected journey of discovery, humanity, and wonder that ensues." This almost reminds me of a Frederick Wiseman doc, showing us "sides of the city you rarely see in movies." It actually looks wonderful. Here's the trailer (+ posters...

Stormy Daniels, the porn star who claims to have had an affair with Donald Trump, and Cheers actress Kirstie Alley are some of the star names set to appear on the British version of Celebrity Big Brother as Viacom-owned broadcaster Channel 5.
The show, which is produced by Endemol Shine-backed Initial Productions, launches Thursday August 16. The network is theming this summer’s reality hit as The Eye of The Storm and is introducing housemates that have all been caught up in their own media controversies.
British tabloid The Sun reports that Daniels, real name Stephanie Clifford, is the show’s major get. The President of the United States of America will be hoping that the adult film star doesn’t reveal too much more during a possible reality TV stint.
She is reportedly joined by Scientologist Alley, who recently starred on Scream Queens.
Other, slightly less A-list names,...

Meghan Markle’s half-sister Samantha Markle is reportedly being lined up to appear on the British version of Celebrity Big Brother as Viacom-owned broadcaster Channel 5 eyes a controversial theme.
The network is theming this summer’s reality hit as The Eye of The Storm and is expected to introduce housemates that have all been caught up in their own media controversies.
The entrance of Samantha Markle, otherwise known as Samantha Grant, would make perfect sense given her controversial views leading up to her half-sister’s wedding to Prince Harry. It emerged that she was responsible for setting up Markle’s father’s staged paparazzi photos and has also appeared on a number of British TV shows including Loose Women and Good Morning Britain, with Piers Morgan, to suggest that Harry would been better off marrying someone else.
The 53-year old claimed to have raised the Suits actress for...

Greenwich Entertainment has acquired Jeremy Workman’s documentary “The World Before Your Feet,” and will release the film theatrically later this year, Variety has learned exclusively.
“The World Before Your Feet,” which had its world premiere at the SXSW Film Festival, was directed by Workman and executive produced by Jesse Eisenberg. The documentary follows Matt Green, who for six years has walked every block of every street in New York City in a journey of over 8,000 miles.
“Jeremy has found in Matt Green, a kind of contemporary Thoreau, and in the process of documenting Matt’s quest has made one of the most poignant and inspiring city symphonies in documentary history,” said Greenwich co-managing director Edward Arentz.
“Jesse and I are thrilled and honored that Greenwich Entertainment will be releasing ‘The World Before Your Feet’ and helping audiences discover Matt’s unique journey,” said Workman. “With the passion that Edward...

Matt Green seems to get asked a lot what he does for work. The answer, which he repeats well over a dozen times in the new documentary “The World Before Your Feet,” is “nothing.” Not because he can’t, isn’t qualified, or is independently wealthy (though it often feels that way), but because he just doesn’t. This answer, of course, leaves people feeling incredulous. Because how else do you define Matt?...

If you live in New York City, Matt Green has walked by your building. He's walked all the other streets in your neighborhood, too — and while you rushed to the subway for work, he was likely learning some bit of lore about the area that you'd never guess. For over six years, he has been diligently walking every street, park lane and boardwalk in the five boroughs, and Jeremy Workman shares many of those miles in the endearing The World Before Your Feet, a portrait of easygoing obsession. A fine match for both lovers of the city and viewers...

Birmingham City hosted Hull City, with the Championship side taking the victory in a promising performance by Lee Clark’s men in the home side’s final pre-season game before their league campaign kicks off.
Goals from Matt Green, from a corner taken by new boy Shane Ferguson – freshly available after a loan move from Newcastle United – and Andrew Shinnie ensured victory, before Sone Aluko scored a penalty consolation for the visitors.
After gaining automatic promotion from the Championship, Steve Bruce would have been hoping to prove they could compete as a Premier League side, while Birmingham, having finished mid-table last season would have been hoping for a confident display to take into Saturday’s opener against Watford. It was the Championship club who came through a scrappy affair between the two clubs, with Hull disappointing, especially so close to the start of the new season.
