Earl Long was born on 26 August 1895 in Winnfield, Louisiana, USA. He was married to Blanche Revere. He died on 5 September 1960 in Alexandria, Louisiana, USA.
After he gave a speech before the Louisiana legislature in 1959, in
which he defended the right of black Americans to vote, his wife had
committed to a mental institution.
