Cecil Priscilla was born in Indonesia to a middle-class working family. She grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia until she moved to the Netherlands in 2016. In 2017, she moved to London for better opportunities in the industry, joined a short-film production first time as a runner. She enrolled herself into a film school in 2018, and graduated with Postgraduate diploma in Filmmaking in 2019, whilst she was working for a numerous short-film, low budget productions as a second assistant camera, to get her foot at the door. She went to Anglia Ruskin University to pursue her postgraduate degree, until she landed on a ground-breaking role as a focus puller for an independent Christmas film.
Cecil is now an experienced filmmaker specialised in camera works and focus pulling, with a demonstrated history of working in film productions, broadcast television, and live productions. She has been working in film industry for over 5 years and various productions. Cecil is a clear storyteller with experience in cinematic film and live productions. Alongside film, she has been working in broadcast since 2018, she mastered as a Broadcast Engineer, especially in video visualisation. Her recent work in film is "Tales of Babylon", which due for the general screening in 2024.
