Trevor Rigby was born and raised in Mission Viejo, California before moving to Florida at the age of 12. Attending both the University of Central Florida and University of South Florida, he holds a bachelor's degree in music and master's in conducting. After performing with and later instructing the Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps from Concord, California, he would go on to direct numerous theater musicals, including the 2010 winner of Best National Musical at the Orlando Fringe Festival, "Inertia - The Musical."
In 2015, he returned to California, where, upon a suggestion from a former classmate now performing in the LA Phil, he created his own ensemble, and thus, the Hollywood Light Orchestra was formed. An EDM based music act that fused live strings, brass, and vocals with the world of electronic dance and hip-hop.
After appearing on America's Got Talent, culminating with performances in Las Vegas at Caesar's Palace, Trevor got the itch to try something "more personal", and began screenwriting. With his first project underway, the 2020 pandemic brought everything to a halt. Not wanting to sit idly by, he decided to make use of his experiences and wrote the story that would become his first feature, "Morgan's Mask."
