- Cathy Evelyn Smith was born on April 25, 1947 in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. She was an actress, known for Away We Go (2009), The Magic Garden of Stanley Sweetheart (1970) and Joe Hill (1971). She died on August 16, 2020 in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada.
- A backup singer, musician, companion, and legal secretary, Smith became infamously known as the woman who administered the fatal intravenous injection of heroin that killed actor and comedian John Belushi on March 5, 1982. After fleeing to her native Canada, she was later extradited back to California where she served a three year prison sentence before being deported back to Canada. She died in 2020, aged 73, in Maple Ridge, British Columbia.
