Update: The lawyer for Karen McDougal and Stormy Daniels further outlined the hush money deals made to his clients, including his suspicion that Donald Trump was “the one” who ultimately funded the Daniels payoff.
Lawyer Keith Davidson said on Tuesday that he did not enjoy having to deal with Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen.
The tension went back to a hostile phone call in 2011 after a gossip site called TheDirty blogged about rumors of a sexual liaison between adult film star Daniels and Trump. “Before I could barely get my name out, I was met with a hostile barrage of insults and allegations,” Davidson testified in Trump’s hush-money trial in Manhattan.
Cohen was “just screaming,” Davidson said, and he accused Davidson’s clients, Daniels and her manager, Gina Rodriguez, of leaking the claim to TheDirty. “Finally, after he finished,” Davidson recalled, he assured Cohen that Daniels didn’t want the story publicized.

For Sisqó as the Lizard, several of the panelists had figured it out. Robin Thicke and Rita Ora knew it was Sisqó. Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg picked Ray J. Ken Jeong said it was Michael Bivins.
Lizard was voted out after being one of the two lowest vote-getters in the two previous episodes.
After two weeks of being on “The Masked Singer” chopping block, Sisqó is finally gone-guh-gone-gone-gone.

Martha Stewart has some very simple advice for Meghan Markle as she embarks on her latest project, a lifestyle brand. She suggests the Duchess of Sussex focuses on the products and customers for American Riviera Orchard, which is, after all, “what it’s all about.”
Martha Stewart’s advice for Meghan: ‘Produce good products’
Following Meghan’s American Riviera Orchard announcement (more on that later), Stewart, 82, shared her advice for the British royal. Speaking to Extra’s Billy Bush at the Nassau Paradise Island Wine & Food Festival in the Bahamas, Stewart shared she’s “flattered” Meghan looks up to her in the lifestyle space.
“I just read that today. I’m flattered.” Stewart replied with a laugh when Bush shared that Meghan “wants to become a brand like Martha Stewart.”
As for Stewart’s advice for the former Suits star: “Produce good products that work and will help the homemaker have a nicer life.

Don’t look too closely!” When asked what he’d like to say to his fans he responded, “If you’ve never done something that’s a little on the scary side — this is scary, I’m shakin’ back there — say yes! Do it! I had a ball.

The writers and directors got a 5% minimum increase, the actors got a 7% minimum increase, and the background people got an 11% minimum increase.
“When it all adds up, it’s quite significant… You know, it wasn’t what we wanted as the performers with the background people got, we didn’t get that, but we were very happy that our lowest-earning members got the most for their minimum salary,” she explained.
“New inroads were carved everywhere.

When “Extra” interviewed Harrison Ford at his “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” premiere in June, the show was proceeding as usual: The actor, the reporter, the branded microphone, the cameras. Then suddenly everything changed — “Everything Everywhere All at Once” Oscar-winner Ke Huy Quan bounded into the frame and reunited with his co-star from 1984’s “Temple of Doom.” The moment went viral, and “Extra” had another feather in its cap.
Once in a lifetime get? Not if you’re “Extra.” For the past 30 years, the syndicated entertainment news show has made its business chronicling every cultural event. There is the episode with Burt Reynolds, shot in the studio parking lot following a blackout; segments featuring a 19-year-old Taylor Swift singing; and a young Kim Kardashian vacuuming her family’s store. More recently, the show can point to host Billy Bush — who jumped time zones in a day to go...

“Politics is poisonous – even in making movies.”
Those were the words of William Goldman, the gifted screenwriter, who was finishing his script for All the President’s Men in 1972, when his director told him to quit writing. It seems Robert Redford, the co-star, had a new take on his character and he would take over the writing.
Goldman was shocked. His director, Alan Pakula, was depressed. The movie was stalled. Ultimately, Redford pumped up the polemics, the script was finished and the movie was a hit. But for Goldman and Pakula, the lesson was clear: No more political movies; too up tight and personal.
I was reminded of this incident this week when a network executive told me, “Objective coverage won’t stand a chance in the 2024 election. Look at the early mess in covering the Trump trials” – week two of the civil trial began Tuesday, with four criminal trials to come.

The MTV Movie & TV Awards were forced to morph into what largely amounted to a clip show on Sunday as host Drew Barrymore had pulled out in solidarity with the WGA, and MTV scuttled plans for red carpet interviews and an in-person ceremony in order to to avoid run-ins with picketers (and lack of talent willing to show up).

The Vanderpump Rules drama known as “Scandoval” appears to be sucking everybody into its orbit, including media personalities such as Howie Mandel and Andy Cohen. Tom Sandoval, the man at the center of the drama, appeared on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast earlier this week to share his side regarding his relationships with his reality TV co-stars Ariana Madix and Raquel Leviss. Sandoval was accused of cheating on Madix with Leviss, bringing an end to a nine-year relationship with the former. However, many fans criticized Mandel for the way he handled the interview, calling out his lack of knowledge about the situation and the show itself. Bravo’s own Andy Cohen even named Mandel his “Jackhole of the Day” for “not doing his homework.” Responding to the backlash, the America’s Got Talent judge told Extra‘s Billy Bush, “I don’t need to do homework. I know who [Sandoval] is.

Every year, a lot of actors win awards on Oscar night, but the ones who most often win the evening are the young stars and starlets who get to walk the red carpet. Sometimes they even win Oscar gold too. With any luck, the young star of “The Florida Project” Brooklynn Prince will make a splash at this year’s ceremony, but here are some of the cutest kids of years’ past:
Jackie Cooper – “Skippy” (1930)
Jackie Cooper was nominated for Best Actor for his role in 1930’s “Skippy.” To date, he’s the youngest boy to ever be nominated in the Best Actor category. He lost to Lionel Barrymore, who thanked Cooper in his acceptance speech. But Cooper didn’t hear it: he fell asleep on Marie Dressler’s arm during the ceremony (which started after midnight) and no one wanted to wake him.

“Extra” host Billy Bush did the final Golden Globes red carpet interview of Lisa Marie Presley, and immediately realized that something was amiss.
Elvis Presley’s only daughter died Thursday at age 54, just two days after walking the red carpet at the Golden Globes. She attended in support of Elvis, the Baz Luhrmann biopic of her father.
Bush recalled his brief red carpet talk with an ashen and unsteady Lisa Marie.
“She was very uneven in her balance,” Bush, 51, told Fox LA. “The speech was very slow. And, definitely, when the interview was over, I turned to my producer next to me and said, ‘Something’s off here.’”
“She was cognizant. She was certainly with it, just a second slow. But she was there. She was definitely there, but just a tad off in some way,” Bush added.
For Bush’s interviews, stars had to navigate two steps to the platform where he stood.

In a new leaked audio tape from the set of Extra, Billy Bush is heard making sexual comments about Kendall Jenner.
This comes after the 2016 release of an infamous video from Access Hollywood of the host making lewd comments about women with Donald Trump just weeks before the presidential election. This video also captured Bush laughing with Trump when he bragged about groping women.
Bush was suspended from NBC’s Today and was later fired.
In Memoriam 2022: 100 Great Celebrities Who Died In 2022!
In 2018, he acknowledged the video, saying, “There is a term for what I did. It’s called bystander abuse. It says by not doing anything you are endorsing the moment. I have to live with that.”
“I was ashamed and embarrassed,” he continued. “And then I went through stages of grieving because I lost my career. For a man, that’s the ultimate degradation.”

Another hot-mic moment has Billy Bush under scrutiny, but it seems the leaked audio won’t cost the TV host a job this time. On Friday, January 6, The Daily Beast published audio of Bush making a sexualized joke about Kendall Jenner on the set of Extra on October 31, 2022. As he looked at a photo of Jenner dressed up as Jessie from Toy Story 2, Bush made a wisecrack referencing the Toy Story character Woody. “Kendall goes as Jessie and, believe me, there were a lot of woodies,” Bush said in the audio, with production staffers laughing in response. In the segment that made it to air, however, Bush gave a toned-down comment on Jenner’s Jessie get-up, saying that it would “be hard to see Toy Story ever the same way.” But the Extra team is supporting Bush, who has hosted the syndicated newsmagazine since 2019. “As with many forms of production in the entertainment industry,...

The producers of US celebrity news show Extra have backed presenter Billy Bush after leaked audio showed the host making a sexual joke about Kendall Jenner.
The cousin of former president George W Bush was heard making a crass comment about Jenner’s looks in her Toy Story-inspired Halloween costume, which she’d shared on Instagram.
In the 31 October audio leaked to The Daily Beast last week, Bush is heard saying on-set: “Kendall goes as Jessie and, believe me, there were a lot of woodies.”
In a statement shared with The Daily Beast and other publications, Telepictures, which produces the syndicated show, defended their host.
It read: “As with many forms of production in the entertainment industry, the show’s creative process allows the flexibility to try different jokes and banter. In the end, some material lands on the cutting room floor, including remarks that may be too edgy to air on broadcast television.
