Evaline Wu Huang

Evaline Wu Huang is a production designer whose latest feature, Blue Sun Palace, starring Ke-Xi Wu and Lee Kang-Sheng, premiered in competition at La Semaine de la Critique section of Cannes 2024 and won the French Touch Jury Prize.
Her work has also premiered at festivals including Tribeca, SXSW (Nominated, Grand Jury Award), Blackstar Film Festival, Outfest, Seattle International Film Festival, and Toronto International Film Festival. She most recently designed Rosemead (2024) starring Lucy Liu.
In the short form world, her work has been published via Nowness, CNN, Dezeen, i-D, Numero, the New York Times, Director's Library, and Vogue. Her clients include Apple, Lexus, Ford, Dancing with the Stars, Netflix, Essentia, and Google. She has designed official schedule runway shows for Paris Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week. She designed the debut re-branding campaigns for Meta (The Tiger and the Buffalo, 2021) and Farfetch (featuring Kim Cattrell, 2022). The Memorial Sloane Kettering PSA she production designed for La Fondation Publicis won a Cannes Lions Health Grand Prix for Good (2023) and Gold Lion Health & Wellness (2023).
Her music clients include The Weeknd, Summer Walker, SZA, Cardi B, Vince Staples, Japanese Breakfast, Migos, Masego, 070 Shake, Olivia Rodrigo, Muni Long, and Virgil Abloh.
As a director, Huang was a 2021 National Endowment for the Arts grantee for her short, CCowboy.
Huang holds a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an M. Arch from the Southern California Institute of Architecture. She is a member of the Art Directors Guild and is represented by The Gersh Agency.
