Joshua Strong is a filmmaker and storyteller based in Chicago, Illinois. His focus has always been to provide powerful experiences for the audience, whether this is through their work as a producer or a writer.
He lives in dual worlds with a love of both popcorn friendly entertainment and more experimental fare. It doesn't matter if there's a shoe string budget or a blockbuster sized one, he'll will put his all into their work. His range of experience reaches beyond writing and producing. Having hands on experience as a production coordinator, unit production manager, and as an AC for a major feature film.
Joshua's goal as a creator is to give the audience a powerful and emotionally thrilling experience, taking them on an exhilarating journey. He loves to create stories that explore the links between human nature and the social-political issues that dictate the world we live in. He's no stranger to blending genres together, and using tropes and the audience's expectations against them in order to subvert genre tropes.
He grew up idolizing filmmakers like Christopher Nolan, Terrence Malick, Michael Mann, David Lean, Christopher McQuarrie, George Lucas, and David Lynch.
