Match #1: Braun Strowman def. Jd McDonagh The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
In his first match back since his injury, Braun Strowman dismantled Jd McDonagh, chucking him around like a sack of flour. McDonagh tried chopping Strowman, leading to a vicious chop from The Monster of All Monsters. Despite a hobbled knee, Strowman was still able to take out McDonagh with the freight train clothesline. As Strowman was looking to put away McDonagh, Finn Bálor and Carlito tried to take out The Monster of All Monsters. This backfired as Strowman shook them off, hitting a Tilt-a-whirl Powerslam on McDonagh to win the match. After the match, McDonagh tried attacking with a steel chair, an enraged Strowman forced McDonagh, Bálor and Carlito to flee.

Match #1: Nxt Women’s Champion Triple Threat Match – Roxanne Perez def. Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Nxt Women’s Championship remains with “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez as the champion retained her title in impressive fashion against both Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley in a Triple Threat Match. The bad blood between former friends Valkyria and Paxley sparked a major battle between the two to begin the match, all while the champion looked on and smiled. Once Perez entered the fray, the action became chaotic as all three Superstars threw caution to the wind, punctuated by the demented Paxley tossing both of her opponents hard to the ringside area.

Dijak laid into the Scottish Superstar, crushing him with brutal chops, strong strikes, and back-breaking tosses across the ring. Dar was even on the receiving end of a ring-shaking sit-out chokeslam. Match #1: Ilja Dragunov def. Wes Lee The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Mad Dragon is one step closer to realizing his dream as Nxt Champion as he defeated Wes Lee to become the No. 1 Contender to face Carmelo Hayes at Nxt No Mercy. The two competitors left it all in the ring as they exchanged their signature offense like chops, splashes, and even a suplex from Ilja Dragunov to Lee on the announce table. Match #1: Nxt Women’s Championship – Tiffany Stratton def. Kiana James The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Tiffany Stratton vanquished Kiana James, but found her next challenge in the process. Both Superstars were willing to do whatever it took to win, but the Nxt official was in perfect position to catch both competitors before they could steal a victory. That, however, wouldn’t last the entire match as once Stratton attempted to use James’ handbag as a weapon, she used the distraction to rake the challenger’s eyes, hit the Prettiest Moonsault Ever, and retain her title.

Match #1: Ilja Dragunov def. Trick Williams The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Mad Dragon walked out of Nxt Heatwave with the win, but Trick Williams proved to himself, to Ilja Dragunov, and to the Nxt Universe that he is indeed more than a sidekick. Dragunov unleashed his hellacious offense highlighted by his vicious chops and reckless abandon, but Trick responded in a big way thanks to his size and strength advantage. Both Superstars did their best to deliver the winning blow and a top rope Uranage from Trick looked to be it, but Dragunov proved to truly be unbreakable as a pair of devastating flying elbow strikes proved to be enough to win the match.

Match #1: Carmelo Hayes, Trick Williams & Ilja Dragunov def. Schism The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Trick Melo Gang and Ilja Dragunov proved they could work together by defeating Joe Gacy, Rip Fowler, and Jagger Reid, but there is still a level of animosity heading into their Nxt Championship Match at the Great American Bash. Fowler and Reid tried to use their signature underhanded tactics to gain an advantage, but Carmelo Hayes had Trick Williams’ back and saved him from their clutches. Match #1: Andre Chase & Duke Hudson def. Drew Gulak & Charlie Dempsey The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Chase U is finally whole again and back to their winning ways as they exacted some payback against former guest professors, Drew Gulak & Charlie Dempsey. All four Superstars battled on the outside before the bell even rang and the action never slowed once it did. Hudson began favoring his wrist and the ruthless Dempsey took advantage by torquing it any chance he could, but when Andre Chase tagged in, it sparked the beginning of the end. Chase brought the fight to both Gulak and Dempsey and an enthusiastic Thea Hail managed to lock in a Kimura Lock on Gulak, allowing Chase and Hudson to defeat Dempsey and pick up the win.

Match #1: Wes Lee, Tyler Bate & Mustafa Ali def. Schism The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The mystifying Schism was no match for the combined forces of Mustafa Ali, Tyler Bate, and the Nxt North American Champion, Wes Lee. The camaraderie of Joe Gacy, Rip Fowler, & Jagger Reid was on point to begin the match as they flexed their collective muscles to keep their opponents down and off-balance. The action broke down and it caused the official to miss Bate tagging into the match, but Gacy’s pinfall on Lee was broken up by a second official recognizing the error. Lee, Bate, and Ali used the confusion to their advantage and defeated Schism to put this terrible ordeal behind them.

Match #1: Tiffany Stratton def. Gigi Dolin The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Nxt Women’s Championship kicked off in epic fashion as Tiffany Stratton became the first Superstar to punch their ticket to the semi-finals after an incredible match against Gigi Dolin. Dolin was still harboring some effects from the beatdown Jacy Jayne laid upon her last week, but she persevered despite having a compromised shoulder. In a savvy move, Stratton targeted that shoulder throughout the match, using it to neutralize Dolin every single time she gained some momentum. By the end of the match, Dolin’s shoulder couldn’t hold up as Stratton hit her signature rolling fireman’s carry and then finished the bout with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever to advance.

Match #1: Kay Lee Ray def. Isla Dawn The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Landing the same back suplex that she used for a recent win over Xia Brookside, Isla Dawn scored a near-fall against Kay Lee Ray. But The Nxt UK Women’s Champion regained control with a tornado Ddt before wearing The White Witch down with a Kojia Clutch. Blasting Dawn with a superkick, The Scary...

Welcome to this week’s Nxt UK review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have…oh screw it…let’s just get to the main event!
Match #1: Aoifye Valkyrie def. Dani Luna The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Dani Luna looked to score a major upset and had Aofie Valkyrie on the ropes for much of this one-on-one bout. But The Norse Angel countered a German suplex before hitting a spinning heel kick and her patented diving split leg drop off the top rope to remain undefeated.
My Opinion: 2.7 out of 5 – This was…okay. Yeah…okay. Yeah…yeah…what-ever. Let’s just get to the main event. Valkyrie good…Dani okay…fine. Let’S Just Get To The Main Event, Damn It!

Welcome to this week’s Nxt UK review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and if you sniff a stiff stick, make sure it isn’t attached to a horny man. We’ve got the Walter/IIja Dragunov match getting the contract signing, so here comes you-know-what…lemon Pledge!
Match #1: Eddie Dennis def. Oliver Carter The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Oliver Carter had Eddie Dennis on his heels in The Welsh Dragon’s first action since Nxt UK’s relaunch, countering a Severn Bridge attempt and blasting him with a superkick. But Dennis found the mark in a big way with his second attempt, planting Carter for the victory.
My Opinion: 2.8 out of 5 – This was a fine little match that saw both guys do some nice moves and keep the action going strong, but the match was never anything big or mighty either. I could...

Match #1: Dave Mastiff def. Joseph Conners – Heritage Cup First Round Match The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Two of Nxt UK’s hardest hitters clashed in exactly the fashion one would expect, exchanging hard strikes throughout, though no falls were scored until the third round. Dave Mastiff became the first Superstar to win a Heritage Cup bout via knockout, as he blasted Joseph Conners with a massive right hand to put him on dream street and advance.
My Opinion: 2.7 out of 5 – This was a lot of stalling, but it was vigorous stalling,...

It’s nice to have it running again, even with the glut of perverts being gutted from the roster, thanks to Speaking Out. We’ve still got some aces in the deck, so at least we can play a good hand every now and then. Let’s tuck in our bucked teeth and slap some fish on the news-paper, because it’s dinner time, daddio!
