It may be hard to believe, but it has been 30 years since Pulp Fiction changed the landscape of cinema both independent and mainstream, taking home the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, earning seven Oscar nods and going on to be one of the most heralded American films ever. To celebrate the occasion, some of the cast gathered for an event to help open this year’s TCM Classic Film Festival. One attendee was Vincent Vega himself, John Travolta, who remembered just what Pulp Fiction means to fans and himself.
Speaking with People on the red carpet, John Travolta commended the ongoing support of Pulp Fiction, suggesting it may not have landed in a different era. “It was epic and it evolved. The audiences made this movie what it was, and it wasn’t overnight. It took about a year of evolution. In those days, movies stayed in the theaters for a year.

While Renny Harlin was promoting his film, The Bricklayer, JoBlo asked him about the making of Die Hard 2: Die Harder, and he had high praise for star Bruce Willis, who he compared, favourably, to the new generation of action stars, who seem reluctant to ever allow themselves to get beaten up on-screen, Willis never had this issue, said Harlin: “I really wanted Bruce Willis to get really screwed up. His face is a bloody mess by the end of the movie, and like you said, it really does make the character more heroic. They are really taking punishment and keep going.”
However, as we reported a little while back, there was one line Willis didn’t love in Die Hard 2: Just the fax, ma’am…

Hollywood star Bruce Willis’ family is said to be “soaking up every moment” with him while they still can. The ‘Die Hard’ actor, 68, has frontotemporal dementia (Ftr), an uncommon form of the disease which causes a deterioration in personality, behaviour, and language.
A source told this week’s edition of UsWeekly, “Bruce has good days and bad days, but in the last two months, there are many more bad days than good. This experience has brought the whole family even closer together.”
“No one knows how much time Bruce has left, so they’re soaking up every moment they get with him. (Everything) revolves around him, Bruce has around-the-clock care, but at least one family member is always with him.”
Bruce, who is married to model Emma Heming Willis, 45, but has daughters Rumer Willis, 35, Scout Willis, 32, and Tallulah Willis, 29, with ex-wife Demi Moore, became a grandfather for the first time...

Emma Heming Willis opened up about husband Bruce Willis’ dementia diagnosis.
Willis wrote in an article in Maria Shriver’s Sunday Paper, saying that she feels guilty about having access to resources amid his battle.
“When I’m able to get out for a hike to clear my head, it’s not lost on me that not all care partners can do that,” Emma revealed. “When what I share about our family’s journey gets press attention, I know that there are many thousands of untold, unheard stories, each of them deserving of compassion and concern.”
Emma also acknowledged that her family has become a voice for those battling Frontotemporal dementia (Ftd).

Bruce Willis was diagnosed with dementia and his wife Emma Heming Willis is opening up about the struggles and lessons amid the actor’s health journey.
In an essay published in Maria Shriver’s Sunday Paper, Emma talks about the “guilt” she feels knowing that there are other people in a similar situation as her without the resources the Willis family has.
“I struggle with guilt, knowing that I have resources that others don’t. When I’m able to get out for a hike to clear my head, it’s not lost on me that not all care partners can do that,” she writes. “When what I share about our family’s journey gets press attention, I know that there are many thousands of untold, unheard stories, each of them deserving of compassion and concern.”
However, Emma hopes that generating attention for frontotemporal dementia, known as Ftd, helps other people “feel seen and understood.

Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Heming Willis has given a new update about her husband’s life with frontotemporal dementia (Ftd).
Heming Willis appeared on the Monday morning episode of “Today” to bring awareness to the disease during World Frontotemporal Dementia Awareness week. Anchor Hoda Kotb spoke with her about how her family’s life has changed since the diagnosis.
“What I’m learning is that dementia is hard,” Emma said. “It’s hard on the person diagnosed. It’s also hard on the family. And that is no different for Bruce, or myself, or our girls. When they say that this is a family disease, it really is.”
When Kotb asked Heming Willis “Does he know what’s going on? Is that something that he is aware of?”, she responded, “Hard to know. It’s hard to know.”

Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Heming Willis isn’t sure if her husband, who suffers from frontotemporal dementia (Ftd), is currently aware of his condition.
Heming Willis told NBC’s Today co-anchor Hoda Kotb this morning that “it’s hard to know” whether Willis is aware of what’s happening to him.
“What I’m learning is that dementia is hard,” Heming Willis said. “It’s hard on the person diagnosed. It’s also hard on the family. And that is no different for Bruce, or myself, or our girls. When they say that this is a family disease, it really is.”
Frontotemporal dementia is an all-encompassing term for a group of brain disorders that threatens, as the name implies, the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain. As the lobes atrophy, symptoms can include speech issues, emotional problems, changes in personality, loss of motor skills including problems walking, swallowing or muscle spasms.
