Peter Guzzardo started his career in entertainment when he wrote and
directed the feature film, "Rocky Point" which featured Guzzardo's
discovery, "The Smithereens". He also directed the play, "The Facts of
Death", wrote and directed the television special, "For Italian Boys
Who Ever Considered Moving to California", and directed several
episodes of "Compromising Situations" which were produced by Allot
productions for "The Showtime Television Network". Later on he became
Director of Marketing of Theatrical Features for "Fries Entertainment"
where he was responsible for the acquisition, marketing, and theatrical
release of over 12 feature films. During his two years at Fries, Peter
Guzzardo became well acquainted with the process of buying and selling
feature films and has attended every major film market and festival in
the industry. In the early nineties, he became an independent producer
and cut deals for successful indies like, "Julia Has Two Lovers"
starring David Duchovny. He also produced the feature film "Italian
Movie", which stars Academy Award Winner Rita Moreno and James
Gandolfini, another of Peter's discoveries. The producer of Roberto
Monticello's Italian Movie, distributor of Bashar Shbib's Julia has two
Lovers, marketer of Fries Entertainments' True Blood, starring Chad
Lowe, Viper, starring Linda Pearl, Fast Food, starring Jim (Ernest)
Varney, The Siege of Firebase Gloria, starring R Lee Ermey, Friends
Lovers and Lunatics, starring Daniel Stern, Grievious Bodily Harm,
starring Bruno Lawrence, and many others.
