Austin Lanning is an American actor, author, and musician. Originally from Waco, Texas, Austin began his varied career as a kid participating in everything from football to student government to gymnastics to modeling. Above everything, he loved the arts. He began writing music at age 8 and began acting in theatre at age 12. He did theatre, choir, worship leading, and anything he could get his hands on. He made nationals in the duet scene his senior year and was awarded Director's Choice in 2017 as well as All-Star Cast for playing the lead in The History of Tom Jones. He graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, TN and partnered with Talent Trek Agency for the SE US in commercials and music videos as well as stunt work. In 2019 he released his first book and musical EP, "Enough." He has also stepped into production roles with companies such as ESPN, Amazon Prime Video, Disney/ABC, and the Food Network. In 2022, He released a musical LP, "Sailors & Stories" featuring the Belmont Symphony, and began partnering with New York City agent, Shirley Faison in the summer of 2022. Since then he has appeared in several short films, the feature "Magic in the Maze," and has been touring with the National tour of "The Thorn," and the international tour of "The NED Show." He continues to train acting, as well as aerials and combat internationally.
