Adley Glemaud
- Visual Effects
Adley Glemaud, originally from Haiti, migrated to Canada with his family and spent his formative years in Toronto and Montreal. In the 1990s, he commenced his artistic journey by pursuing Fine Arts at the Ontario College of Arts in Toronto, followed by studies in Architecture and Interior Design. However, Adley's deep-seated love for music led him to explore various musical instruments such as drums, guitar, bass, and piano.
His foray into filmmaking burgeoned from a desire to craft visually artistic music videos that would complement his compositions, allowing him to convey his narratives and perspectives on life. To realize this vision, he delved into the realms of 2D and 3D animation at Icari and College Bois-de-Boulogne. His quest for mastery led him to the National Film Board of Canada, where he not only honed his skills but also shared his expertise by teaching various animation techniques, inspired by the pioneering work of Norman McLaren.
Adley's professional journey as a freelancer encompasses diverse projects, some of which are documented on IMDB. Currently, (2023) he is embarking on a new chapter of his artistic exploration, venturing into the realms of Virtual and Augmented Reality-a medium he sees as the future for storytelling and visual expression.
