After being blown away by the Prime Video adaptation of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s novel Daisy Jones & The Six, I decided to circle back and read the author’s debut novel, the “tragic love story” drama Forever, Interrupted… and as the story went on, I became more and more surprised that it hadn’t yet received an adaptation of some sort. It seemed ready to be brought to the screen as a heartbreaking and heartwarming movie or TV show, with solid roles for two lead actresses. Well, now it’s getting its adaptation. Glamour reports (via Deadline) that Margaret Qualley (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) and Laura Dern (Jurassic Park) are set to star in a limited series adaptation of Forever, Interrupted that’s coming our way from A24 and the Netflix streaming service.

A new dream TV duo is upon us. Laura Dern and Margaret Qualley are set to co-star in the upcoming limited series Forever, Interrupted, which just landed at Netflix from production company A24. Per Deadline, they’ll also serve as co-executive producers.
Forever, Interrupted is based on the romance novel of the same name by Taylor Jenkins Reid, who’s also the author of Daisy Jones & the Six, which was adapted into a Prime Video limited series starring Riley Keough in 2023. Qualley will star as Elsie, who embarks on a whirlwind romance that leads to a supposedly idyllic marriage after just a few months. But when her husband unexpectedly dies, her path crosses with that of his mother Susan (Dern), who had no idea she even existed.

British director Paul Andrew Williams’ next film is psychological thriller The Nest, starring Vanessa Redgrave and Andrea Riseborough.
Paul Andrew Williams is synonymous with gritty, low budget British filmmaking. Bursting onto the scene in 2006 with London to Brighton, he quickly built up an impressive filmography including showcasing the glorious double act of Andy Serkis and Reece Shearsmith in horror comedy The Cottage, home invasion horror Cherry Tree Lane and a change of direction with sweet musical comedy Song For Marion, which starred Terence Stamp and Vanessa Redgrave. He returned to his roots in 2021 with dark thriller Bull, a revenge story featuring a powerhouse performance by Neil Maskell. It’s a tough watch but a terrific film, it is currently streaming on Netflix.
Williams will with Redgrave for his next film The Nest, the synopsis reads as follows:
The Nest will chart the story of two neighbours who strike up an unlikely friendship,...

Peter Webber, who helmed the Oscar-nominated “Girl With the Pearl Earring,” is to direct a film about the family behind the Leica camera brand, who helped many Jewish people escape Germany during World War II.
Webber has teamed up with Red Panda Films’ Martin Serene and Franziska Morai, also the film’s screenwriter, Christine Guenther of Fireglory Pictures and Birgit Gernboeck to produce the film, with Versa Studios attached as a partner.
Leica was founded by Ernst Leitz in 1869 as a manufacturer of microscopic lenses, but in the 1930s Ernst Leitz II took the risk of mass producing the first 35mm compact camera, an invention that optical engineer Oskar Barnack had worked on for over two decades. The camera was revered by photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson.
“However, the revolution of the Leica camera is only half of the story,” Webber said. “Hardly anyone is aware that Ernst Leitz II,...
