Eric Casaccio
- Actor
- Writer
- Producer
Eric Casaccio's mission statement says, "In my life, I am committed to focus, hard work, and creativity, and I choose to have that show up by my commitment to being imaginative, empathetic, and passionate and demonstrating through curiosity, collaboration, and full self-expression" and he has more than done so.
Being a driven LGBTQ artist, Eric found genuine pride in creating original work. In 2008, he produced, wrote, co-directed, and acted in a live charity event show raising money for The Trevor Project. On top of that, Casaccio produced, wrote, and directed two thought-provoking critically acclaimed award-winning films; "Freak" and "Narcissist." Both movies feature the late Angela McEwan, who played Peg Nagy in Alexander Payne's Oscar-nominated film "Nebraska."
In 2020, Eric unexpectedly lost his mother, who always wanted him to stick with acting. Soon after her passing, he took his first audition in years, landing the lead role in "My Sick Love" and a nomination for Best Actor. Since then, Eric has booked several indie films and rebuilt his show-reel, demonstrating an actor range of mysterious, creepy, neurotic, demanding, silly, sad, self-reflective, and ridiculous roles. If Dan Levy and Jim Parsons could have a baby, their kid would be Eric Casaccio! As he continues to study various acting styles, he practices the Michael Chekhov Technique daily.
Eric also founded Now Your Life, a coaching practice that boosts your art form and breaks your doubts. He enjoys running and hiking with his husband in the mountains and time with their pup Vixen, a sweet border-collie born on Christmas Day, named after the reindeer!
