While walking inside the Un to deliver a passionate address persuading member states to take appropriate legal action to stop Isis, Amal Clooney was photographed by the paparazzi. It didn't take long before the photos popped up online, but instead of seeing headlines accompanying the photos in praise of her speech, the attention was aimed primarily at her baby bump. Like Tina Fey did at the Golden Globes in 2015, many came to Amal's defense by citing her extensive list of impressive accomplishments as a way of saying, hey, there's a lot more to her than simply a pregnant stomach. Since 2010, the 39-year-old barrister has worked for Britain's Doughty Street Chambers, where she's specialized in international criminal law, public international law, and human rights. Before that, she spent time as a defense attorney for one of the world's most well-respected law firms, Sullivan & Cromwell, in New York. We could go on...

Angelina Jolie is being recognized for her humanitarian work in a big way. On Friday, the actress was named an honorary dame at Queen Elizabeth's annual Birthday Honors List ceremony in London. Don't call her Dame Angelina just yet, though - that title is reserved for British or Commonwealth citizens. After joining hundreds of others bestowed with dame and knighthood, the Oscar-winning actress said "to receive an honor related to foreign policy means a great deal to me, as it is what I wish to dedicate my working life to." The words echo the sentiment she shared in a recent BBC interview, in which Angelina said her upcoming role as Cleopatra might be her last. No stranger to humanitarian work, Angelina is a special envoy to the United Nations' high commissioner for refugees. Most recently, Angelina has worked to stop sexual violence in war-torn regions. Earlier this week, the activist...

Pitt and Angelina Jolie attended The Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict this week in London as did Clooney's future wife, Amal Alamuddin, though it's unclear if they've crossed paths. Alamuddin, a human rights lawyer attending on behalf of Unicef, took notes while sitting in a different area of the auditorium during Thursday's program, and Clooney did not attend. Like Jolie, 39, Alamuddin, 36, works with the U.N. -...

After 25 years, Jeremy Paxman is quitting BBC Two's Newsnight.
No longer will we see politicians quaking in their boots, producers being slammed live on TV and awkward chats with rappers.
To mark the end of an era from quite possibly Britain's greatest news broadcaster of the last two decades, Digital Spy has rounded up just some of the classic moments of Paxo on Newsnight.
1. Paxman/Rascal
Possibly the sign of things to come in terms of Newsnight incorporating surprising guests and skits (see Cookie Monster and 'Thriller'). Paxman took part in a rather bizarre interview with Dizzee Rascal following Barack Obama's presidential victory in 2008. When asking Dizzee he believed in political parties in Britain, the rapper replied: "Yeah, they exist, I believe in them. But I don't know if I care," adding: "If you believe, you can achieve, innit." The awkward silences after Dizzee's points are also classic.
