Dan is a London-based production designer, still life photographer and mixed media artist - with creativity being the essence of his work. He began exhibiting passion for crafts from early childhood, creating things and images from a young age, and went on to attend a model aviation club and pursue an interest in film photography during his school years. In 2003 he graduated from the Budapest Polytechnic with a degree in garment technology, which further enhanced his skills in various crafts.
He then decided to pursue his passion in creative photography, and, having moved to London in 2007, excelled in this field as a truly well rounded still life photographer with a particular enthusiasm for set design and prop making.
In 2018 Danil began expanding his skill set. He acted as a production designer on Enni Red's short film "Make a Wish" and created a poster which went on to win the prestigious Fresh Future '19 award. That same year, he attended a workshop with the production designers of Skyfall (Chris Lowe) and Trainspotting (Kave Quinn), which further fuelled his desire for working in the film industry.
The controversial year of 2020 was a success as in the lock down Dan managed to produce short films within his London apartment, one of which "Pypertruck" participated in Four Walls Films Festival and won a BTS award and "Grounded", which is running a festival round and have been picked as official selection for a few festivals.
