- His play, "Pilgrim's Progress" at A Red Orchid Theatre in Chicago, Illinois was nominated for a 2016 Joseph Jefferson (Equity) Award for Midsize Play Production.

- He traveled to Reading to preach the gospel and to make peace between a father and son who had become alienated. After he had made the peace, he returned to London on horseback through a very heavy rainstorm. He caught a cold and this developed into a fever, of which he died after ten days.
