- Wolfgang Zeller was born on September 18, 1893 in Biesenrode, Mansfeld, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. He was a composer and actor, known for Goal in the Clouds (1939), Vampyr (1932) and Prix de beauté (Miss Europe) (1930). He died on January 11, 1967 in Berlin, Germany.
- From the middle of the 30's he concentrated completely to the film business.
- After the war he normally worked for the DEFA where he was able to prove again his abilities as a highly gifted filmcomposer.
- Zeller was the son of a vicar.
- After graduating from high school in Potsdam, Zeller continued studies with violinist Felix Berger in Munich, and with composer Jean Paul Ertel, in Berlin.
- Between 1921 and 1929 he was violinist and in-house composer for the Berlin Volksbühne orchestra.
