Pamela Post, vp original programming, will expand her duties with the company and take on Zacky's responsibilities. Cher is heading back to the small screen.
The music legend, who last starred on "The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour"40 years ago, is working on a TV pilot. The gay icon is in development with Logo, an Lgbt-centric cable channel, on a period drama, set in 1960s Hollywood.
Cher is working with veteran TV writer Ron Zimmerman on the show and while she is currently attached as writer, she may also co-star.
Logo's Senior Vice President of Original Programming Brent Zacky made the announcement about Cher's potential show at the 2013 Television Critics Association Press Tour on Saturday.
"We read some of the stuff that Cher and Ron had written and it was really terrific," Zacky told The Hollwyood Reporter. "The deal is brand-new and we're just getting started on the project ... We're very carefully and hopefully diligently taking a few shots in this arena and we'll see how it pans out.

Brent Zacky has joined Logo as Svp Original Programming and Development. He will oversee all aspects of original programming and manage the network's bi-coastal development team, reporting to Lisa Sherman, Logo's Evp and General Manager. Zacky comes from TLC, where he was VP Development and Programming and developed such series as Cake Boss, Outrageous Kid Parties, Freaky Eaters, Homecoming, My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, Niecy Nash’s Wedding Bash and the upcoming All-American Muslim. He also oversaw all live coverage of the Royal Wedding on TLC. Before that, he spent five years at E!, rising to VP Development.

35-year-old actor, Mario Lopez, may contribute on U.S. beauty pageant, Miss America, again. According to The Associated Press, Tlc network and the Miss America Organization have made a statement on December 1 informing that Mario is in a negotiation to serve as master of ceremonies for the pageant's upcoming show.
Mario, who has once hosted the 2007 Miss America, may land on the same role for the 2008 beauty pageant ceremony. "Mario and the Miss America Organization's past relationship has proven beneficial and we look forward to having him in Vegas again this year," said Tlc's programming vice president, Brent Zacky.
Miss America 2008 will be aired live at 8/7c on January 24 from Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. On December 1, Miss America Organization has also released names of the judges, which include designer Paige Adams-Geller, actress Laura Bell Bundy, and the 1999 Miss America Nicole Johnson.

The Saved by the Bell teen turned Dancing With the Stars comeback kid has been tapped to host the 2009 Miss America pageant, the second time he will preside over the poise-a-palooza. "Mario and the Miss America Organization's past relationship has proven beneficial, and we look forward to having him in Vegas again this year," said Brent Zacky, programming V.P. for Tlc, which will again televise the ceremony.
