Fatal Seduction is a steamy thriller series with little to offer as a smart television series but a lot to offer as a guilty pleasure. The Netflix series follows a married woman who goes on a weekend trip where she cheats on her husband because they have been having trouble in their marriage for a long time. Add a murder mystery to that storyline and Fatal Seduction runs like any erotic thriller. So, if you liked Fatal Seduction here are some more shows you could watch while waiting for Season 2.

Michael Bay's "Transformers" sequels were critical punching bags — the only one to get above a 30% on Rotten Tomatoes was the third film, "Dark of the Moon." That can make it hard to remember that the 2007 original actually got some of the better reviews of Bay's career. Critics weren't exactly raving about it, granted, but its middling, just barely failing 57% on Rotten Tomatoes looks like a golden crown compared to the sequels' scores.
Between 2007 to 2009, "Transformers" was largely considered a perfectly harmless blockbuster. It was the second film, the panned "Revenge of the Fallen," that earned the series its bad reputation. I quite like the comparison by interview reviewer SFDebris: "Transformers" is a mindless action movie while "Revenge of the Fallen" is a stupid action movie.
The sequel doubled down on all the worst elements of the original: crass frat-boy humor, indecipherable robot designs, headache-inducing action, and ill-conceived world-building. The...

This Sunday, Fatal Attraction returns.
The famed IP is getting the series treatment, which allows for a much deeper dive into the story and its characters.
Like you, we have IP refreshing and reboot fatigue, but we've seen Fatal Attraction Season 1 in its entirety and believe that further exploration has merits.
Dan Gallagher (Joshua Jackson) is an attorney on the cusp of a significant promotion. He's happily married to Beth (Amanda Peet), and the couple has a lovely daughter, Ellen.
But as bright as Dan's life seems on the outside, he's riddled with self-doubt when an opportunity slips through his fingers, and he begins looking outside of his family for validation.
Dan finds that validation in Alex Forrest (Lizzy Caplan), a coworker with an understanding of his professional pressures because she faces the same.
Dan and Alex have a one-weekend affair that scratches an itch for both of them. Dan feels seen,...

Plot: A deep-dive reimagining of the classic 80’s thriller, exploring timeless themes of marriage and infidelity through the lens of modern attitudes toward strong women, personality disorders and coercive control.
Review: As Paramount continues to mine its existing franchises and intellectual property for material to populate its streaming service, we will find unique approaches to retelling classic and iconic stories. You don’t want to ignore the new trailer for Fatal Attraction, the upcoming eight-episode adaptation of the classic 1987 movie coming to Paramount+.
The Fatal Attraction series stars Lizzy Caplan as Alex Forrest, a woman who forms a deep connection with Dan Gallagher (Joshua Jackson) during a one-night stand, but when Dan decides to end the affair, Alex has trouble letting go. Additional scenes show what Daniel thought was going to be just a one-night stand transitioning into something much more dangerous. Brief clips show Alexandra pursuing Daniel, and even showing up at his home. The trailer ends with Daniel proclaiming his innocence and swearing he’s going to prove he’s not a murderer.
Fatal Attraction stars Joshua Jackson as Dan Gallagher, Lizzy Caplan as Alex Forrest, and Amanda Peet as Beth Gallagher. The cast also includes Alyssa Jirrels as Ellen Gallagher, Toby Huss as Mike Gerard, Reno Wilson as Detective Earl Brooker,...

The new take on “Fatal Attraction” will not be ignored any longer. On Monday, Paramount+ released the official trailer for the new drama series, which takes the familiar intellectual property from the 1980s and refashions the material for a modern age.
Starring Joshua Jackson and Lizzy Caplan, the new take on “Fatal Attraction” begins with an interesting twist: Dan Gallagher (Jackson) in prison for the murder of Alex Forrest (Caplan) 15 years earlier. As the trailer shows, the drama bounces between time periods – with Dan out of jail in the present day and hoping to prove his innocence in Alex’s death, and then flashbacks to their clandestine affair in 2008. (The idea that Dan would face criminal charges for killing Alex has seeds in the ending of the original 1987 movie when Alex dies by suicide and then frames Dan for her death.)
In addition to Jackson and Caplan, the series stars Amanda Peet,...

Another day, another Adrian Lyne revival — except this time, Paramount+ is doing a reboot of one of his past works rather than when Hulu let him run wild with a fun new experiment. "Fatal Attraction" is returning as a series, and the first trailer has just premiered, so get excited.
In the minute-long sneak peek, we meet Josh Jackson's Dan Gallagher and Lizzy Caplan's Alex Forrest, two people who seem to be drawn to one another. Dan is more guarded than Alex, who appears to be an expert in pressing (or pulling) buttons — but as things ramp up, they also seem to spiral out of control.
The streamer is calling the new take "a deep-dive reimagining of the classic psychosexual thriller and '80s cultural touchstone." The original film followed a man and woman who embark on a weekend affair, but the woman just won't let it go and her obsession mounts.

Here, star Adrian Holmes (who plays Will’s Uncle Phil Banks) talks about where the drama picks up after last March’s big finale — when Will realizes that everything he was told about his long lost dad Lou (Marlon Wayans) wasn’t true at all. Lou didn’t abandon his son; he was just serving time behind bars.
Three new episodes drop tomorrow, followed by a new episode each Thursday. The series hails from Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith’s Westbrook Studios and Universal Television, part of Universal Studio Group.

Exclusive: Peacock has rounded out the recurring cast for Season 2 of Bel-Air with newcomer Al-Shabazz Jabateh (Prime Day Show), Nicholas Duvernay (Purple Hearts), Diandra Lyle (Secrets of Sulphur Springs), Justin Cornwell (The Umbrella Academy) and Reno Wilson (Good Girls).
Bel-Air, based on Morgan Cooper’s popular fan film that reenvisions the 1990s Will Smith sitcom The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air as a drama, hails from Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith’s Westbrook Studios and Universal Television, part of Universal Studio Group. In its first season, it became Peacock’s most streamed original series.
Set in modern-day America, Bel-Air follows Will’s (Jabari Banks) complicated journey from the streets of West Philadelphia to the gated mansions of Bel-Air. As these two worlds collide, Will reckons with the power of second chances while navigating the conflicts, emotions, and biases of a world far different from the only one he’s ever known.

Adrien Lyne's classic erotic thriller, "Fatal Attraction," is the latest gem from cinema's glory days to be dusted off and receive the TV remake treatment. What makes this streaming remake of "Fatal Attraction" from Paramount+ rather interesting is the cast list it has assembled, which includes Lizzy Caplan, Joshua Jackson, and Amanda Peet.
In "Castle Rock" season 2, Caplan did the unthinkable and managed to fill Kathy Bates' Oscar-winning shoes as Annie Wilkes, the obsessed "number one fan" and villain of Stephen King's "Misery." Now, Caplan has set her sights on Alex Forrest, the obsessed stalker and antagonist first played by the inimitable Glenn Close in "Fatal Attraction."
Here's everything we know about the upcoming "Fatal Attraction" series so far.
