A former Marine charged with strangling two Indiana women to death is facing murder charges in the deaths of five more women, People confirms. Darren Vann, 44, of Gary, was arrested in 2014 and charged with strangling Afrikka Hardy, 19, and Anitha Jones, 35. Police said then that Vann told them where he could find the bodies of five more women. He was charged with murder in the five other cases on Monday, Gary police Lt. Dawn Westerfield tells People. Westerfield adds that Vann was also charged in Lake County Superior Court with 10 additional counts including rape, criminal confinement and attempted murder on Monday.

An Indiana coroner is asking for the public's help in identifying two of the alleged victims of Darren Vann, the 43-year-old convicted sex offender and former Marine who confessed to killing seven women whose bodies were found in Gary. Lake County Coroner Merrilee Frey said one of the victims found Oct. 19 was 5' 3" and had on a silver bracelet with "Best Aunt" written on top.
