Taylor Sheridan is dismissing the notion that his series Yellowstone falls into easy political categorization.
During a recent interview with The Atlantic, Sheridan addressed claims that the popular Paramount Network drama is geared toward politically conservative viewers. The publication cites New York Times columnist Ross Douthat having referred to the Kevin Costner-fronted series as “the most red-state show on television,” along with Daily Mail having suggested that Yellowstone is too “anti-woke” to win awards.

Over the past decade, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has struggled to inject more populism into the Oscars. Solutions, which haven’t impacted a steady audience decline, have included expanding the number of best picture nominees and floating the idea of a “popular film” category, eventually settling this year for a glorified Twitter poll in which fans of Zack Snyder and Johnny Depp battled to invalidate the entire endeavor.

President Trump is now the nation’s worst president. At least according to Washington Post columnist George Will. Will, a known conservative pundit and an outspoken Trump critic, tore into the president in an op-ed Thursday, arguing that Trump’s support of Alabama Gop Senate candidate and accused child molester Roy Moore disqualifies him from public office. “He is an anti-constitutional recidivist, twice removed from Alabama’s highest court for his theocratic insistence that his religious convictions take precedence over U.S. Supreme Court decisions, so he could not have sincerely sworn to ‘support and defend the Constitution’ and to ‘bear true faith and allegiance.

Since 2002, Cinema St Louis has held the St Louis Filmmakers Showcase, a way for movies made by locals or with very strong local ties to be shown to the wider public. A huge number of fascinating features have been given exposure in this way and joining the wide variety (narrative features, experimental shorts and local documentaries) comes 500: The Impact Of The Reformation Today, made by the local Concordia Seminary, one of the world’s premier locations for Lutheran studies and teaching.
It’s the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther’s 95 Theses, which I can say without fear of hyperbole is one of the most important single events in world history.

Nobody is more excited about George Clooney becoming a dad than his A-list friends.
The 56-year-old actor and his wife, 39-year-old Amal, welcomed their twin babies, Ella and Alexander, on Tuesday. Of course, a few of Clooney's famous pals haven't been shy about giving their thoughts on the former notorious bachelor becoming a father of two.
On Tuesday, Et spoke exclusively to The Talk host Julie Chen -- who first broke the news that Amal was expecting twins in February -- and she had nothing but confidence in her pal's parenting skills.

Yet another puzzle picture, that came out on DVD back with the first wave of Wac films in 2010. An expensive romance with Albert Finney and Yvette Mimieux, it was filmed in Europe, co-written by Ray Bradbury and bears the music of Michel Legrand, including an exceedingly well known pop song. Yet it sat on a shelf for three years, only to make a humiliating world debut on TV — on CBS’s Late Nite Movie. It was clearly one of those Productions From Hell, where nothing went right.

When Prince George walks down the aisle at Aunt Pippa Middleton‘s wedding to financier (and brother of one of Britain’s most notorious reality stars) James Matthews as a page boy on May 20 (with Princess Charlotte by his side as a bridesmaid!), he’ll be following in his dad’s footsteps.

George Will Delivers Scathing Attack on ‘Unfit’ Trump for ‘Disorderly Mind,’ ‘Limitless Gullibility’
What can the public do about a President who doesn’t seem to know anything? Keep talking about all of his mistakes. Longtime conservative columnist George Will published an article Wednesday night in which he called upon the public to contact their representatives to express their concerns about Trump, who he says has a “combination of impulsivity and credulity” that makes him “uniquely unfit to take the nation into a military conflict.” “It is urgent for Americans to think and speak clearly about President Trump’s inability to do either. This seems to be not a mere disinclination but a disability.

George Michael fans have reportedly been paying £14 to take a guided tour of the cemetery where he will be buried.
The 'Careless Whisper' hitmaker - who was found dead in bed on Christmas Day (12.25.16) - is set to be laid to rest alongside his mother Lesley at Highgate West Cemetery, north London, later this week.
And loyal fans of the chart-topping star have been so eager to show their love for George that they have paid for guided tours of the cemetery, according to the Daily Star newspaper.
However, George's family are determined to maintain the late singer's privacy and have, therefore, demanded they keep tours well away from the grave.
This comes shortly after it was reported George will be laid to rest in a low-key ceremony that will only be witnessed by around 30 mourners.
A source recently said: "The funeral is going to be a very small, private gathering.
