Halo has announced further expansion with a new division, Halo Film & Drama.
Run by joint MDs David Turner and Simon Wilkinson (who joins Halo from Technicolour), Halo Film & Drama will operate from Halo’s recently enlarged facility in Noel Street and will be based around Flame Premium, Smoke and Baselight, while the sound department will utilise Halo’s two Dolby 7.1 film mixing rooms and six television 5.1 mix suites.
Creative director Dominic Thompson, previously head of editing at Technicolour, will be responsible for building a top-level creative team dedicated to film and drama picture services.
Halo Post, under MD Jo Beighton, will continue to oversee the growth of Halo’s core markets of TV factual, documentary, Le and Natural History programming across its four central London sites.

We’re now only days away from the creepiest and most upsetting movie in years hitting cinemas (our review here). It’s already been well received in the Us, where it made back its budget this weekend, and in case you haven’t read our review, we thought it was rather good.
Last week we published our premiere coverage, where we spoke with the cast and crew of the film but we got to speak with Radcliffe in rather more depth a few days beforehand, where we discussed horror movies, missing out on school trips, and just where all the freaky props used in the film came from.
