Presidential candidate Donald Trump faces an uphill battle when it comes to minority support in the upcoming election. Recent polls show that Trump performs dreadfully amongst black voters, garnering a whopping zero percent vote. Though Trump has tried to remedy this situation by hiring Omarosa Manigault, a former contestant on Trump’s reality TV show “The Apprentice,” as the campaign’s new director of African-American outreach, the Gop’s lack of diversity is a reliable source of comedy for late-night hosts, stand-ups, and comedians of all stripes. Case in point: On last night’s “Late Show,” host Stephen Colbert spoke with the Republican National Convention’s only African-American delegate Frank Walters, played by actor Keegan-Michael Key, one half of comedy duo Key & Peele.
