Massholes everywhere are rejoicing this week after learning that the two most successful white people from Boston ever, Mark “Marky Mark” Wahlberg and Donnie “Step By Step Ooh Baby Gonna Get To You Girl” Wahlberg, are opening up their own Burger Chain. It will be called “Wahlbergers” and not, sadly, “Say Hello To Your Burger For Me.” It turns out that a burger chain called Tom Wahl’s had a Wahlburger on their menu — that would be a regular burger covered in cheese. And if you’ve seen this movie, you’d know where that title came from. Eventually, the brothers and their business reps contacted the chain to learn more about this mysterious meat sandwich, and a few months later, here we are: A world now made better by a burger restaurant owned by this dude. He’s gettin’ mines! Now the obvious question: How are all those burgers gonna effect these guys?...

Mark Wahlberg made his name in the the eighties as a pants-dropping beefcake. But now's he's moved on to an enterprise with even more of an upside: selling beef. He and his brothers Donnie, a former rapper, and Paul, a chef, have acquired rights to use the name "Wahlburger" for their soon-to-open restaurant in Hingham, Massachusetts, reports the Boston Herald. The name is owned by Tom Wahl's, a chain of fast food restaurants in upstate New York, and refers a $4.49 burger with swiss and ham. The Wahlberg brothers acquired the rights to the "full spectrum" of uses for the name, almost a year after incorporating in Hingham under the name Wahlburgers LLC.
Wahlburger will be the second Wahlberg-owned restaurant to open in Hingham, which is 15 miles southeast of downtown Boston. It and its sibling, Italian restaurant Alme Nove, are located in Hingham's Shipyard development, on Hingham Bay. Paul is...

We've all known Mark and Donnie Wahlberg since their glorious Funky Bunch/New Kids days, but it's their brother Paul who is about to step into the spotlight, with his upcoming restaurant.
Paul, a professional chef, has just settled a major legal roadblock to opening the burger joint of his dreams—securing the name Wahlburgers, which had been previously trademarked by Tom Wahl's, a restaurant chain based in Rochester, N.Y.
There's no word on just what financial terms Mr. Wahl received in exchanged for handing over "full spectrum" use of the name, but we're sure it was a pretty penny. (Why didn't we think to trademark that word?!)
According to the Boston Herald, Whalburgers is slated to open "soon" at the Hingham Shipyard in Massachusetts, conveniently located across from the family's Italian restaurant, Alma Nove (named in honor of Mama Wahlberg and her nine kids). Oh, and in...

Get ready to never be satisfied by any other restaurant ever again: according to the Boston Herald, Mark Wahlberg’s restaurant Wahlburgers is set to open soon, a joint venture the actor is opening with brother Donnie Wahlberg, among others. Wahlburgers? That’s it. Shut it down. As for as we’re concerned, every other eating establishment on the planet no longer exists (except for Red Lobster, of course, since that name is also completely dead-on).
Reportedly the brothers’ restaurant recently finished securing its amazing title after negotiating with existing burger joint Tom Wahl’s, which sold a “Wahlburger.” Please, please, please let Wahburgers be a theme restaurant where all the waiters are shirtless boxers on brink of collapse. Please let every mother who orders an entree get a free personal hi from chef Paul Wahlberg, Mark and Donnie’s older brother. We didn’t even have to make a joke about that one.

They're the guys who own this establishment. You must be the other guy. Of all the business ideas Donnie and Mark Wahlberg have bandied about, this has to be the most inspired: The famed brothers have licensed the name Wahlburger from Rochester, N.Y.-based fast food chain Tom Wahl's to open their own burger joint in their hometown of Boston. We can imagine the menu already: Anyone for The Right Stuff patty melt? How about a Sixth Sense salad? Or maybe a Marky Mark milkshake? Per the Boston Herald, the New Kids on the Block singer and The Departed star, along with other brother and chef Paul Wahlberg, heard that Tom Wahl's had sold a product named the "Wahlburger." As it...
