- Daniel Toscan du Plantier was born on April 7, 1941 in Chambéry, Savoie, France. He was a producer and actor, known for The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover (1989), Boris Godounov (1989) and La Bohème (1988). He was married to Mélita Toscan du Plantier, Sophie Toscan du Plantier, Francesca Comencini and Marie-Christine Barrault. He died on February 11, 2003 in Berlin, Germany.
