Kip S. Thorne is an internationally famed physicist who works in the
fields of theoretical physics, gravitational physics, and
astrophysics.
Became a full tenured professor at the California Institute of
Technology in 1970, and holds the position of Feynman Professor of
Theoretical Physics at Caltech (1991 - present).
Holds the degrees of B.S. in Physics from California Institute of
Technology (1962); A.M. in Physics from Princeton (1963); and Ph.D. in
Physics from Princeton (1965).
With his first wife has two children: Kares Anne and Bret Carter
Thorne.
