- Irving Starr was born on November 22, 1905 in New York City, New York, USA. He was a producer and production manager, known for The Witness Vanishes (1939), The Gallant Blade (1948) and The Westland Case (1937). He died on January 17, 1982.
- American producer of second features. With Universal as supervising producer in the 1930's, then had several stints at MGM and Columbia. Fired from Columbia in 1949 following a disagreement with studio boss Harry Cohn. Subsequently worked in television.
