- Takeshi Shudô was born on August 18, 1949 in Fukuoka, Japan. He was a writer, known for Pokémon: The First Movie - Mewtwo Strikes Back (1998), Pokémon 3 the Movie: Spell of the Unown (2000) and GoShogun (1982). He died on October 29, 2010 in Nara-City, Nara-Pref, Japan.
- While working as head writer of Pokémon (1997), Shudo had envisioned an ending to the animated series where the Pokémon would rebel against their trainers, with Pikachu as the lead and Mewoth as the mouthpiece.
