Monsters & Critics was invited by Ep Barbara Romen for the episode taping that featured Greg Proops, Franklyn Ajaye, Kathy Griffin and Dana Gould. Outstanding grouping and one that shows the major comedic chops of Proops, always underutilized and deserving of his very own show. Showtime's new programming chief David Nevins shows continuity with a renewal of the network's comedy series The Green Room with Paul Provenza, which has received a six-episode order. Season 2 will be filmed in Los Angeles for a 2011 premiere. Hosted by comedian Paul Provenza, each episode features a handful of comedians as they tackle topics in an uncensored format. Provenza executive produces the series with Barbara Romen.

New York -- Showtime has ordered a second season of comedy series "The Green Room with Paul Provenza," the network said Thursday.
Season two will be filmed in La and debut in 2011. Showtime said it has ordered six new episodes for the sophomore season.
The show will continue to "offer viewers the rare opportunity to watch comic legends share their innermost thoughts, personal anecdotes and raw humor with each other in an intimate setting," it said.
Each episode features a handful of comedians, with Eddie Izzard and Roseanne Barr among the season one guests. The show is executive produced by host Provenza and Barbara Romen.
