Another new indie project has crossed our desk, this time from Middleton, Pennsylvania, by way of director Tom Richards. Chock-full of swine desecration, alcohol abuse, weed worship, satanism, and the grotesque birth of an inter-species pig/human hybrid, we figured it sounded right up our readers' alleys!
Synopsis:
Award-winning reporter Skip Jenkins from Community News takes a journey into the Three Mile Island afflicted lands of Middletown, Pa, searching for the hard to find grindcore band Hog Caller. The resulting docu/mockumentary, interspersed with Hog Caller's nightmarish realities, contaminated music videos, and toxic lyrics, candidly follows a reporter, a cast of locals, and an elusive band toward crisis, confusion, and more questions than answers.
In a sort of weird art imitating life imitating art circle, Richards stars in the film with Steve O’Donnell, with whom he formed a grindcore band called ... you guessed it ... Hog Caller in the early 2000s,...

Will there be four wildcards, will there be one, will Gamu be back or will she be gone? There’re lots of question marks over what lies ahead in this year’s X Factor but the biggest question is probably which of the so-called Wild cards will progress the furthest.
Paddy Power are now giving their punters the opportunity to take a ‘wild’ guess on this year’s X Factor and bet on which of this year’s rejects will progress the furthest as wildcards. Cheryl’s Treyc Cohen and Dannii’s Paije Richardson are the 13/8 joint favourites to progress the furthest from the list of potential wildcards.
And eighteen year-old Gamu Nhengu is still listed as a possible wildcard despite reports that she is due to be deported.

Tom Richards was determined to impress Dannii Minogue and Natalie Imbruglia on tonight’s X factor show.
The 16 year old made it past bootcamp, to the judges houses stage and speaking from Dannii’s mansion he admitted that he really, really wants to win. Tom said:
At the moment I’m living in Pontypridd in South Wales, the last thing that came out of there that as a real success was Tom Jones. About a week ago I was back home, on my school holidays chilling out with my friends and being here in Australia, this is the absolutely the biggest moment of my life. My father’s a self employed plasterer, my mother’s a part time chef’s assistant and times are a bit tight. Doing well in this competition and succeeding would be great cos I’d be able to pay them back for everything they’ve sacrificed for me.

We know we’ve already brought you the rumoured final 12 for this year’s X Factor but in case anyone’s interested, here is the final 32 through to judges houses.
These 32 acts have all attended the final audition round of the ITV show and will be seen singing in Australia, England, Spain and Ireland on next week’s show.
In 2010, Dannii Minogue will be mentoring the boys, Cheryl Cole has the girls, Simon Cowell will look after the groups and Louis Walsh has been landed with the older acts.
There is a slight change to the categories this year. As usual we will have our boys, girls, groups and overs – however the age limit for the older group is now over 28, so some singers who would previously have been in that category, have managed to win themselves a place in the much cooler, younger groups.

Tom Richards impressed the X Factor judges with his bootcamp performance but some weren’t sure that he was good enough to make it as a solo artist.
The 16 year old, from Pontypridd in South Wales, originally auditioned for the panel in Cardiff and was seen dividing the judges with his performance. After his rendition of Man Who Can’t Be Moved, Louis Walsh was forced to beg Pixie, 19, to change her vote and put Tom through to the next round.
Talking to the cameras before his bootcamp song, Tom admitted that he was chuffed to have gotten so far. He said:
I’m so happy that I’ve got as far as this because looking back at this time last year I was singing at school, at karaoke and I have to pinch myself that I’m here today, singing for some of the biggest names in the music industry.

X Factor hopeful has admitted that he found it hard to take criticism from stand in judge Pixie Lott on the show, because she is only a few years older than him.
The 16 year old, from Pontypridd in South Wales, auditioned for the panel in Cardiff and was seen on Saturday night’s show dividing the judges. He sang The Scripts Man Who Can’t Be Moved and failed to impress either Simon Cowell or Pixie Lott. After his performance, Louis Walsh was forced to beg Pixie, 19, to change her vote and put Tom through to the bootcamp rounds.
On Pixie’s reaction to his audition, Tom told The Sun:
“Pixie was only a few years older than me. Having a guest judge on the show practically the same age as me was difficult to handle.”
“During my performance, the judges were smiling – especially Pixie – so I thought I’d done really well.

Tom Richards caused a bit of an upset on tonight’s X Factor show.
The 16 year old, from Pontypridd in South Wales, turned up to the show’s Cardiff auditions and sang for Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole and Pixie Lott. He started with The Scripts Man Who Can’t Be Moved but the panel weren’t convinced by his dated performance. He went on to sing This Is The Moment from stage musical Jekyll and Hyde, which irritated Simon Cowell even more.
