Shakespeare, Shaw and Moliere are the names which appear most
frequently on Don Reilly's resume. Whether at Broadway's Lincoln Centre
Theatre, The New York Shakespeare Festival, Boston's American Repertory
Theatre, or L.A.'s Mark Taper Forum, he has been a working classical
stage actor for almost two decades. He won the Boston Theatre Critic's
Best Actor Award for his performance as Jack Tanner/Don Juan in 'Man
and Superman' and (as a young understudy) had the honor of going on for
Kevin Kline in the title role in his production of 'Hamlet' at The
Public Theatre.
As a writer/director, his latest short film, 'The Bottom Line', (an 18 minute comedy about a suicidal accountant) premiered at The Sedona Film Festival in February, 2003. He is currently at work on his first 35mm feature, due out in 2004.
