She was 67. Anandavally was the voice of many strong women characters of the 1980s and '90s, including the much-loved character of Clara that actor Sumalatha played in Thoovanathumbikal. Dubbing for Geetha’s character in Aadaram won her the Kerala State Award for Best Dubbing Artiste in 1992. Another popular character for whom she dubbed is the melancholic role that Poornima played in her debut in Manjil Virinja Pookkal, which also introduced Mohanlal and Shankar as actors.
