Scoop, the brand-new Hansal Mehta limited series on Netflix, brings us many characters who are not exactly good but are not bad either. They are just human beings who make the most of the situation and allow themselves to succeed. There is also a power game that many cannot ignore in every office structure, more so amongst the police, who are forced to follow orders even if it means doing the wrong thing.
Jcp Harshvardhan Shroff, the top brass cop with Mumbai Police, is one of the main contacts for Jagruti to get enough information or confirmation on any news she is working on. They seem to have had a professional relationship for many years and she was friendly with his son as well. But Harshvardhan’s being in a position of power does not stop him from insinuating that he wants to sleep with her or probably just have...

In a shock tell-all interview just days after resigning from ITV’s This Morning, Phillip Schofield has said he did not “abuse his power” when having an affair with a much younger runner, and that he “sees nothing ahead but blackness.”
Speaking to BBC host Amol Rajan, the visibly shaken former host said he has been feeling suicidal over the past few days and “understands how Caroline Flack felt,” referring to the former Love Island presenter who died by suicide in 2020.
“Last week, if my daughters hadn’t been there, I wouldn’t be here,” said Schofield. “They’ve been by my side every moment because they’re scared to let me out of their sight. It’s like a weird numbness. I know that’s a selfish point of view but you come to a point where you just think how much are you supposed to take.”

Brian Cox is speaking out about his controversial exit from HBO's Succession.
Logan Roy was killed off during Succession Season 4 Episode 3, a development that divided the hit drama's fans.
Cox believes the shocker happened "too early."
"[Succession creator Jesse Armstrong] decided to make Logan die, I think ultimately too early," Cox said in an interview with Amol Rajan Interviews, which is set to air on BBC2 in the U.K. on Thursday (May 25) night, Deadline reports.
"I mean, he'd made him die in the third episode… It was an odd feeling."
The star said he struggled initially and looked at being written out as a "form of rejection," but noted he "was fine with it ultimately," even if he did "feel a bit rejected."
"I felt a little bit, 'Oh, all the work I've done. And finally I'm going to end up as a New Yorker on a carpet of a plane',...

Exclusive: The BBC has apologized after broadcasting a documentary in which presenter Amol Rajan is filmed in the back of a taxi not wearing a seatbelt.
The documentary, How to Crack the Class Ceiling, was broadcast in December last year and, around 11 minutes in, features Rajan delivering a piece to camera from the back of a cab.
The presenter can be clearly seen not wearing a seatbelt, which is against the law in the UK when the safety device is available.
The BBC said: “In the course of making this programme the presenter was filmed travelling by cab without using a seatbelt. This was a mistake for which we apologise.”
Rajan appears to be traveling through London in the clip. The Metropolitan Police website states that people can be fined up to £500 ($606) for not wearing a seatbelt.
The police force has been contacted for comment. Rajan has also been contacted for comment.
