The horror TV series Z Nation was produced by The Asylum (a company best known for the Sharknado franchise and mockbusters) and aired on Syfy for five seasons, running for a total of 68 episodes from September 12, 2014 to December 28, 2018. After that show wrapped up, a prequel series called Black Summer ran for two seasons (released in 2019 and 2021) on the Netflix streaming service. If you’ve been wondering when Black Summer is going to return for a third season… well, it looks like it’s not going to, because the folks at What’s on Netflix have confirmed that Netflix quietly “ghost cancelled” the show. But a new post on The Asylum’s X account indicates that Z Nation might be getting a revival! The post promises that a big announcement is coming soon…

A "Suits" comeback wasn't on anyone's 2023 Bingo card, yet it was a huge year for the USA Network lawyer series. When the show dropped on Netflix last June, it became one of the streamers' biggest hits, reportedly accruing 3 billion minutes watched every week for much of the summer. The series' creator, Aaron Korsh, suspected its resurgence had something to do with the show's relatability and "inherent optimism," as he told The Hollywood Reporter in August 2023. But the show's cast could have also had something to do with it: future ex-royal Meghan Markle starred in the legal procedural for its first seven seasons alongside leading men Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht.
When "Suits" started, USA Network seemed to have already established a pretty standard formula for success: cast hot people, write fast-paced scripts, and keep storylines adventurous. It worked for shows like "Burn Notice" and "Psych," and given the longevity of "Suits,...

From Barefoot Kid Productions, Jars Media Group, and Novakovic Brothers Films, the pic is being produced by Rob Simmons, Ante Novakovic, Antony Ware, Greg Scarnici, and Ramsey Heitmann. The plot, written by Myles Clohessy, Phil Harrell, and Emma Harrell, centers on Troy Miller (Paolo) and a group of friends who opt to escape the Pandemic ridden New York City of 2020 by going on a seemingly perfect summer vacation to Fire Island, the picturesque LGBTQ party haven off the coast of NY. What starts as the time of their lives and a much needed retreat from quarantine rules, quickly spirals out of control for the group of friends on the infamous, picturesque party getaway, as they find themselves caught in a web of sex, lies and cold blooded murder at the hands of a serial killer on the loose (Bennett).
Kresh Novakovic, Kahyun Kim, Liam Burke, Arielle Diaz, Brian Foyster, and Ramon Torress also co-star. Steven Schrager and Robert Clohessy will serve as executive producers, with filming slated to take place in New York City and on Fire Island this month.

Shudder has today announced that it has commissioned scripts for a full third season of Creepshow, showrun and executive produced by Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead) and based on George A. Romero’s iconic 1982 movie. The anthology series shattered all Shudder records when it debuted last October, and its first season has just concluded a successful run on AMC.
The second season was set to commence shooting in March in Atlanta, Georgia, but has been on hold until film and television production resumes. Says showrunner Greg Nicotero:
Creepshow continues to be near and dear to my heart and having the opportunity to continue the legacy by developing season 3 gives me the chance to work with some of the best storytellers and artists in the business. The stories we have in the pipeline for season 2 are even more outrageous, more fun and capture the spirit of what George Romero and Stephen King started in the ‘80s.

Spooky times require spooky TV shows. AMC’s streaming horror service Shudder is doing its part by ordering scripts for Creepshow season 3. The news was first reported by Variety.
While this does not technically constitute an official renewal yet, networks and streaming services, particularly smaller ones like Shudder, generally aren’t in the habit of ordering scripts for full series that they don’t intend on filming. The reasoning for this atypical season 3 renewal announcement is likely the same reasoning for just about everything right now: the coronavirus outbreak. Creepshow season 2 was set to begin production in March in Atlanta but was forced to delay due to the global Covid-19 pandemic. Shudder just wanted to get rolling on season 3 while season 2 remained in stasis.

If you don’t yet have a subscription to the excellent horror streaming service Shudder, then you probably have not had a chance to see Creepshow, the original anthology series based on the classic 1982 movie written by Stephen King and the late George A. Romero.
Well, while we nevertheless strongly recommend that you check out Shudder if you’re a horror fan, you’re still in luck if you don’t: the entire first season of Creepshow will run on basic cable’s AMC network (which owns Shudder) next month. The show will premiere on Monday, May 4 and will air two episodes back to back, starting at 9:00 p.m. Et.
Now, the first season is comprised of just six episodes, but each episode contains two standalone tales of terror for a total of one dozen haunting stories, many of them written and/or directed by some of the genre’s more notable names.

Shudder original Creepshow is set to get a linear debut on AMC ahead of the digital launch of its second season.
The move is the latest example of AMC Networks moving its content “fluidly” between its portfolio of linear channels and digital services. Last year, it aired supernatural horror drama NOS4A2 on AMC before putting it on Shudder for a second run. Creepshow will air on AMC later this year.
“There’s absolute crossover between the brand and the content on some of our linear channels and Ott services,” COO Ed Carroll, speaking on its investor call following its financials, said. “We think that [Creepshow] will be successful on AMC but will also then build audiences for the season two launch back on Shudder.”

Supernatural Season 15 Episode 10
This episode opens on a monster version of Fight Club with classical music playing over it. It’s corny and it means to be -- amid the bloodshed, it’s setting the tone that this episode won’t be a serious one. Although the beginning is vicious, we soon find out our shish-kebabed werewolf is not dead, and the goal for the Winchesters is to investigate the monster fight club.
The Winchesters' real problem, however, is a lot more pedestrian than roided-out monsters fighting in cage matches. This is illustrated by Sam’s disastrous attempts at making dinner, and Dean visiting Berens’ Quick Trip (a reference to executive producer Robert Berens) and having his credit card declined. Dean suddenly has 17 cavities, Sam gets...

After a season away, DJ Qualls is returning to “Supernatural.” In both the world of the show, and Qualls’ own life, a lot has changed in the time that has passed. But now, he is celebrating the parallel journey he has taken with his hunter-werewolf character Garth.
Garth was first introduced in the seventh season episode “Season Seven, Time for a Wedding!” as a hunter with whom Dean (Jensen Ackles) had to team up to save his brother Sam (Jared Padalecki) from an odd situation. His hunting style was very different from the Winchesters’, but he became a trusted ally as time went on. In the ninth season, the brothers visited Garth when they heard he was in the hospital, only to learn he had been turned into a werewolf. Welcome back, my friends, to the show that never ends. Horror has always been cyclical, and if that’s true, we have lucked out to be swirling around in a lot of good stuff. The best thing about 2019 in horror has been the variety: if you wanted a straight-up slasher, it was there. Ghosts? Covered as well. Creature features? Check. But in the world of horror, enough is never enough, so I’m going to plow through a whole whack of things I’ve liked and loved this past year.

I’ve got happy and exciting news for all you Creepshow fans! AMC’s horror streaming service Shudder has renewed the horror anthology series for Season 2!
This has been such a great show to watch! I’ve really enjoyed what executive produced by showrunner Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead) and his creative team have delivered with this series. As a fan of the original 80s films that came from Stephen King and George A. Romero, I can say that this series perfectly captured the spirit of those movies. Nicotero said in a statement:
“For me, ‘Creepshow’ has been a true labor of love. To be able to pay tribute to George A. Romero’s visionary project and have the show so embraced by fans everywhere is humbling to this horror kid from Pittsburgh. I couldn’t be more pleased and look forward to continuing the series with more ghoulish delight.

Exclusive: The Creepshow TV series is setting records for AMC’s Shudder. Since its September 26 premiere, 54% of all members on Shudder’s direct-to-consumer platforms have viewed an episode of the anthology series based on the 1982 Stephen King and George Romero film, according to the premium streaming service.
Additionally, Shudder says the first episode had more minutes streamed in its opening weekend (September 26-29) than any title in the service’s history, nearly equal to the opening weekend minutes of the #2 (Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire), #3 (Mandy) and #4 (Summer of ’84) titles combined — all features with twice the run-time of the Creepshow premiere. The first week of the anthology series also set a record for total minutes streamed on the service and is bringing in record numbers of new members, according to Shudder.

We’ve got a pretty crazy trailer for the upcoming fourth and final season of The Man in the High Castle before it returns to Amazon Prime next month. It looks like the final season will see all the rising tension that was building in season three really come to a head and explore Juliana Crain (Alexa Davalos) and her ability to travel between realities and save her world from impending doom.
The series also stars Rufus Sewell, Chelah Horsdal, Joel De La Fuente, Jason O’Mara, and DJ Qualls. I’m not caught up on this series, but this trailer makes me want to get on it, because it looks incredibly exciting and like it’s going to tell an intriguing story that will finish the series up while doing it major justice.
Here’s the synopsis for Season 4:

“You know it’s ok to be scared, right?”
Shudder has released another trailer for Greg Nicotero’s upcoming Creepshow series, which is based on the classic horror anthology film of Stephen King and George Romeo.
I’m super excited about this series revival, and the stories that are going to be told sound like some good old-fashioned creepy fun. You can tell that the creative team had a great time making this series and telling these stories.
This new trailer offers a lot of great new footage teasing the wonderfully terrorizing madness that awaits.
We have some information on all twelve of the stories that will be told during the first season and I’ve listed them again below in case you missed them or want to read through them again.
The cast for the series includes Adrienne Barbeau, Giancarlo Esposito, David Arquette, Tobin Bell, and Dana Gould, Jeffrey Combs,...

Giancarlo Esposito, Tobin Bell, Tricia Helfer, and more talk about their Creepshow experiences in this exclusive behind the scenes clip.
When The Walking Dead's Greg Nicotero found out he'd be bringing beloved '80s horror film Creepshow back from the grave, he knew exactly what he had to do.
“I literally texted every single actor I've ever worked with to find out what they're up to,” Nicotero told us earlier this year. “I was like, ‘Come on, this is our chance to do what we always want to do, which is work with our friends, and it's quick.’”
Now, in this exclusive behind the scenes look at the cast of Creepshow from Shudder, we can see the fruits of Nicotero's texting labor. Give it a look below.

This Creepshow anthology series is going to offer some fun and horrific entertainment! I had the opportunity to watch the first episode of the series, which I really enjoyed, and I’m looking forward to watching the rest of them. You can tell that Greg Nicotero is having a blast making this series, which is a revival of the 1980s horror anthology films from George Romero and Stephen King.
As a big fan of those films, I enjoy how the series emulates those in its style, and you’ve gotta love the practical effects that were utilized to bring these 12 stories to life for our viewing entertainment.
We’ve got a new blood and gore filled trailer for the series for you to watch that teases the crazy terror-filled mayhem that awaits us! Enjoy!
