Died of AIDS-related cancer and was survived by his companion of 18 years, Wayne Tripp.
Was a playwright on the side. His 1969 play "Khaki Blue" co-starred
one-time wife actress Dolores Dorn. Also the author of the novel, "The Exact
and Very Strange Truth", which was published in 1964.
Attended Princeton University and was a member of the Actor's
Studio.
