Percy Phelps

Percy was brought up in the rural grape country of the central valley
in California by a long line of strict disciplinarians - both his
father and grandfather were Korean and WW1 veterans respectively, his
great grand father one of the few reconstruction era African American
judges in the United States after the civil war. All of this
regimentation led Percy to "escape" to the local movie theater, then
ultimately to acting. Percy studied at Berkeley and in the San
Francisco Bay Area before moving on to study under Sally Kirkland, .
The Actors Studio and with The Strasberg Institute... Percy has
appeared with Oprah Winfrey directed by notable directors like Walter Hill and
performed in some 500 stage productions and a host of and films.
