Pénélope Palmer

Penelope Palmer was born in New York, New York. Her father is
Ciao Manhattan (1972) director
John Palmer, who once was a camera
man for Andy Warhol, and her mother is
former cover girl and Warhol "superstar", actress
Ivy Nicholson, who appeared in
the Warhol film I a Man (1967). She has
a twin brother, Gunther Ethan Palmer, a drummer in the band,
Stagefright. Her parents met while working at Andy Warhol's Factory,
and Penelope's very first acting roles were as an infant in some of
Warhol's films that were never theatrically released. As a small child,
she moved to Paris with her mother, where she later starred in
La femme enfant (1980) and
Malville: état de siège (1978),
while still in her early teens. She has two children, sons Donovan and
Zarki.
