Mailey) told David (Carlo Marks) she’s pregnant. Bree (Emilie Ullerup) and Luke (Stephen Huszar) ended up together, though he did almost leave town. And Connor (Andrew Francis) and Margaret (Mariesa Crouse) might have found what they need to win David’s father’s case. Executive producer Phoef Sutton breaks down the finale and teases what would’ve happened next for the O’Briens. You ended perfectly, on the family gathering around the firepit. Was...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Chesapeake Shores Season 6 Episode 7 “It’s Not for Me to Say.”] As executive producer Phoef Sutton told TV Insider, “A lot of stuff that maybe would’ve taken two or three seasons to do, we kind of had to move forward.” And we certainly see that in the seventh episode of Chesapeake Shores‘ final season, with a time jump of six months. Abby (Meghan Ory) panics after Evan (Robert Buckley) comments that it feels like he’s known her forever and she replies, “it kind of sounds like you love me.” Mick (Treat Williams) interrupts the awkward moment that follows, allowing Evan to flee. Abby then asks Kevin (Brendan Penny) for advice, and all he can offer is that they have an open, honest conversation. Evan’s actually the one to start it, wondering, “Did you say that because you love me? Or just that you think I love you?...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Chesapeake Shores Season 6 Episode 6 “Straighten Up and Fly Right.”] Mick (Treat Williams) may now be able to say the words “I’m an addict,” but that doesn’t mean that we don’t need to still worry about him. In fact, the latest Chesapeake Shores episode shows the complete opposite. Mick and Megan (Barbara Niven) are doing the best they can with a long-distance relationship, and that means plans (such as a rendezvous in Denver) don’t always work out (she’s sick and can’t fly). But as we see, that may be a good thing because sure, he tells Abby (Meghan Ory) he can always do virtual meetings, but after a week, he still hasn’t found a sponsor. He thinks he can work on the steps on his own for a while, but Ralph (Donald Sales) points ...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Chesapeake Shores Season 6 Episode 4 “That’s All There Is to That.”] First, let’s get the good news out of the way: Sarah’s (Jessica Sipos) pregnant again, and she and Kevin (Brendan Penny) are thrilled. After saying “I love you,” Connor (Andrew Francis) and Margaret (Mariesa Crouse) signal making their relationship official with a handshake and a kiss. But the majority of the latest Chesapeake Shores episode focuses on Mick’s (Treat Williams) addiction to painkillers. It begins with him going to two different doctors to get refills with claims he’s traveling and can’t get in touch with his regular physician. Then he forgets to pick up Abby’s (Meghan Ory) daughters. Abby finds him asleep on his desk, and he snaps at her when she wakes him. He says he just hasn’t been sleeping well and that his back and arm hurt and promises he’s still reliable.

As Abby’s (Meghan Ory) finding new love on Chesapeake Shores, we can’t help but wonder about her last love and the chances of seeing Jesse Metcalfe as Trace again, especially with the Hallmark Channel drama in its final season. “I don’t want to tease anybody. We don’t see Trace again for the season,” executive producer Phoef Sutton told TV Insider. “We don’t see Trace again. He’s off discovering who he is and all that. And he’s not a part of the show anymore, so I wish him well.” But could we hear about him as the series prepares to say goodbye? “Not really.” Ricardo Hubbs/Hallmark Media Metcalfe exited the drama at the beginning of Season 5. In the second episode, Trace left town, explaining to Abby, “I need something new, somewhere new. I was staying here on account of you, but everything in...

The Chesapeake Shores Season 6 premiere ended with Evan showing up at the O’Briens with a yacht for his and Abby’s first date. But the night wouldn’t end with a kiss — impulsiveness has wrecked his past relationships, just ask Scarlett Johansson. But that moment is coming, “when it’s time,” they agree. Elsewhere in the episode, Connor (Andrew Francis) begins his recovery following his heart attack, and Mick (Treat Williams) has us worried as he continues to pop painkillers. “No more breakup bangs,” Meghan Ory says with a laugh. The actress, who’s played practical divorcée and mother of two Abby O’Brien since Chesapeake Shores’ 2016 debut, knows the show’s diehard fans, called “Chessies,” will be excited to hear it. After spending time getting over love Trace (Jesse Metcalfe), Abby is ready to move on in the series’ sixth and final season. In last October’s cliffhanger, she left a voicemail message saying, “I think maybe we should give us a try” for one of the two men hoping to date her next. Was it kindhearted third-grade teacher Jay (Greyston Holt) or playful billionaire Evan? “You find out who she called pretty quickly,” Ory offers coyly. “Finally making the decision is her choice to trust herself, go with her heart and take a leap of faith.” Regardless of her pick, Abby will still be in business with Evan...

We’re only a week away from finding out if Abby (Meghan Ory) called Evan (Robert Buckley) or Jay (Greyston Holt) in the Chesapeake Shores Season 5 finale, but as we continue to wait, we want to know who you think she should choose. There’s Jay, the teacher, whom Abby invited as her plus one for Jess (Laci J. Mailey) and David’s (Carlo Marks) wedding. It seemed like something could happen between them and he won her over with his photo of her as an example of capturing a perfect moment. Still, in the finale, he admitted that while he had feelings for her, he also liked a guidance counselor at the school and wanted to start something with her unless Abby could tell him there was hope for the two of them. Meanwhile, Abby spent Season 5 bantering with billionaire Evan (and danced with him at the aforementioned wedding). In the finale,...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Chesapeake Shores Season 5 Episode 7, “What’s New?”] In probably the most entertaining episode of Chesapeake Shores Season 5 (and maybe the series) so far, Evan (Robert Buckley) throws his back out and becomes a temporary guest at the O’Brien house simply due to the fact that he can’t move without a significant amount of pain. Mostly everyone’s amused. Abby (Meghan Ory) is, of course, less charmed (at least outwardly) than the others. (Who can blame her? He just told her he’s pulling out of the build after the Smithsonian ordered all work stopped while they uncover an old ship.) Even has Abby call Mandrake (Wesley Salter), who basically takes care of everything for him. Abby’s grandmother Nell (Diane Ladd) insists Evan ...

Fortunately, nothing goes wrong on the day of the ceremony. They get married, David lives, and they’re as cute as ever. In fact, the drama the day of the wedding comes from Jess’ sisters, as both Abby (Meghan Ory) and Bree (Emilie Ullerup) have two men interested in them — and present at the reception. It’s even better that his son, Connor (Andrew Francis), works for the law firm representing the man who wants to use Mick as his scapegoat. As Paul Dilpher (Aurelio Dinunzio) sues Mick, claiming fraud on his part, Connor shares with his father the information he and Abby (Meghan Ory) uncovered: Proof that Dilpher forged his signature on several contracts since they’re dated when Mick was on vacation with the family. Furthermore. Connor suspects, after a tip from paralegal Margaret, his colleagues are going through his desk drawers, including one with a lock. As she points out, he can control what they find.
