- Brunette actress and singer (soprano) who worked as a stenographer for The Times in Los Angeles before being signed by Columbia. She had a few leads in forgettable films, but her career quickly faded and she left pictures in 1944.
- She was married to Frederick Pate, an electrician at Columbia studios.
- Fictitious studio publicity claimed that she had an Irish ancestor ( a princess, no less!) who operated a fleet of pirate ships of the coast of Ireland.
- Studied drama at the University of California in Los Angeles and first acted at the Westwood Community Theater and Pasadena Community Playhouse.
