- John O'Banion was born on February 16, 1947 in Kokomo, Indiana, USA. He was an actor, known for The Judas Project (1990), Borderline (1980) and Legend of the Eight Samurai (1983). He died on February 14, 2007 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
- Singer and actor who began his pro career in 1978 as a frequent performer on Johnny Carson's "Tonight Show". Among his solo recordings are the early 1980s issues "Love You Like I've Never Loved Before" (1981) and "I Don't Wanna Lose Your Love" (1982) for Elektra Records. He was quite popular in Japan.
- Died just two days shy of his 60th birthday. John had been battling long term effects he suffered as a result of blunt force trauma to the head after being struck by a car while touring in New Orleans in the early 90's. He died at his home in Los Angeles surrounded by family and friends.
