Ryan Reynolds is probably one of the few actors out there with zero haters. From his onscreen characters to his banter with his wife Blake Lively, there is absolutely nothing we don’t love about him. His performance as Deadpool, though, will always hold a special place in our hearts. All in all, Ryan Reynolds clearly deserves all the appreciation he gets.

However, his former Deadpool co-star T.J. Miller does not seem to be a fan. The controversial actor has previously expressed his resentment toward Ryan Reynolds but the harsh feelings seemed to have ended when the latter reached out to the former. But recently, T.J. Miller has made some comments about the popular actor yet again that did not sit right with the fans.

There is no talk show guest experience like going on Adult Swim's "The Eric Andre Show." Andre, a surrealist prankster comedian whose antics regularly offend, does his best to terrify and torture his guests on the talk show from Hell. There have been some memorable interviewees who managed to get on the same weird, Dadaist level as Andre, like rapper Tyler, the Creator and skateboarder Tony Hawk, but no one expected "The Wire" star Lance Reddick to sit down in the stuffy warehouse and put up with the show's bizarre gauntlet. His appearance on the 2013 episode of the late-night series was pretty unexpected in and of itself, but his actions in the episode are even more surprising. Reddick not only punches Andre's desk and storms off, he then comes back dressed in rags with chains, a visor, and a Starfleet communicator badge on his bare chest. The actor always commits completely to a role,...

"I don't know how I can help." Gravitas Ventures has revealed an official trailer for a crime thriller titled Among the Beasts, the latest from actor / filmmaker Matthew Newton. Now set to open both in theaters and on VOD coming up in February. When a gangster's daughter reluctantly teams with a former Marine to find her kidnapped cousin, the combat veteran must overcome his own demons in order to rescue the child. There's not much more to the plot than that, yet another of these junk films being dumped on VOD every week. This indie thriller stars Tory Kittles, Libe Barer, Sarunas J. Jackson, Kate Easton, Jeremy Holm, Mark Mitton, with Jon Bass, and Jim Norton. Unfortunately this looks instantly forgettable and entirely uninteresting, not even worth watching the trailer either. Save yourself the trouble and just skip it. ›››

Rob Schneider claims Bill Murray “absolutely hated” the cast of Saturday Night Live when the latter hosted the NBC sketch comedy series.
Schneider, appearing on today’s episode of SiriusXM’s The Jim Norton & Sam Roberts Show, went so far as to say that Murray particularly disliked Adam Sandler and the late Chris Farley. The subject came up as the hosts were discussing rumors about Robert Shaw’s reportedly difficult demeanor on the set of Steven Spielberg’s Jaws.
“That’s the same thing with Bill Murray,” Schneider interjected. “I won’t say who the filmmaker was, but ‘Bill Murray is gonna come, he’s gonna change the…dialogue. Tj Miller has claimed that Ryan Reynolds contacted him after he said he had a “weird” experience with the Deadpool actor during filming.
The former Silicon Valley star, who played Weasal in the first two Deadpool films, said in a recent podcast interview that Reynolds’s alleged on-set behaviour left him with no desire to work with the actor again.
“Would I work with him again? No, I would not work with him again,” Miller said during an appearance on the Adam Corolla Show podcast earlier this month. “But I’ve said that about Michael Bay, and now we’re friends, and I would work with him again. But I think Michael Bay is different.”
Miller explained: “We had a really weird moment on Deadpool where he said, ‘Let’s do one more take.’ And then as the character, he was horrifically mean to me as if I’m Weasel.

Simon Pegg earned the wrath of the Dark Side of the Force when he said that “Star Wars” fans are currently pop culture’s “most toxic” fanbase – and are far worse than what he sees from “Star Trek” fans, in particular.
Stopping by Sirius Xm’s “Jim and Sam” show with Jim Norton and Sam Roberts last week, Pegg was asked which of the different franchise fan bases between “Star Wars,” “Star Trek” and “Dr. Who” have been the most toxic to deal with.
“As someone who was kicked off about the prequels when they came out, the Star Wars fan base seems to be the most toxic at the moment. I’m probably being very controversial to say that,” the actor said.

Exploring the relationships between comedians and the women that made them funny, Call Your Mother is a fun and sincere ode to the creative process. Directed by Jesus Camp and Detropia filmmakers Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady, the documentary follows various stand-up comedy legends including a few like Kristen Schaal, David Spade, Roy Wood Jr., and Bridgett Everett who are fortunate enough to still have their mothers around even if they get the occasional scalding for a sketchy joke that goes over the line. One stand out who steals the show is Fortune Feimster, a lifelong tomboy whose childhood in North Carolina included being raised on Hooters. She spins hilarious stories of life in the South as her mother proudly watches on.
Call Your Mother bounces between intimate interviews and moments on and off the stage. The picture attempts to cover too much ground, often checking in with some of...

President Donald Trump said Wednesday that he’d “take a look” at fulfilling “Tiger King” star Joe Exotic’s request for a presidential pardon.
Trump was asked about it by a reporter at Wednesday’s coronavirus briefing at the White House. Trump admitted that he hadn’t seen the show and knew nothing of the exotic animal zoo owner’s situation, but he said he would “take a look.”
The exchange comes a few days after the president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., jokingly said in an interview on SiriusXM’s “Jim Norton and Sam Roberts” show that he would lobby for a pardon for the exotic animal zoo owner.

Exclusive: Truly Tasteless Jokes, a series of slim paperbacks that became a publishing juggernaut in the 1980s, is the subject of a new documentary feature just acquired by Virgil Films.
Tasteless, directed by Jeff Cerulli and Matt Ritter, traces the history of not only the books themselves but the way the material — much of it crude and controversial — has aged over the decades. The author of the books, Ashton Applewhite (who used the pen name Blanche Knott), later became a feminist and activist. She conceived of the original volume while making $8,500 a year as an entry-level employee in book publishing.
In a 2011 reminiscence she wrote for Harper’s magazine, titled “Being Blanche,” Applewhite reprised many of the jokes that filled the books, the first of which was the best-selling mass-market title of 1983. The punchlines started fairly PG-rated — “What’s the difference between garbage and a girl from New Jersey? Garbage...

This unsettling documentary focuses on an engineer from Nazi Germany who was a key player in America’s lunar programme
This considered documentary blends archive, original interviews and reconstruction to track down an ugly, sticky thread from the great tapestry of self-congratulation that is forming around the 50-year anniversary of the first moon landing. Where a number of recent documentaries and dramatic features celebrate, however justly, the bravery, vision and scientific achievement of the Apollo 11 mission, writer-director Johnny Gogan’s collaboration with co-writer Nick Snow is a reminder that it was thanks to contributions from scientists smuggled out of Nazi Germany after the second world war that the Americans beat the Russians to the moon.
In particular, this zeroes in on the story of Arthur Rudolph, who is played in flashbacks with enticing ambiguity by Jim Norton. Rudolph, an engineer, joined the Nazi party in 1931 and worked directly under the...

During the Academy Awards last night, Netflix dropped a bit of a bombshell. At one of the commercial breaks, they revealed the very first Teaser Trailer for Martin Scorsese’s upcoming gangster tale The Irishman. It was a definite surprise, as the rumors have been swirling about when and where the film might debut. To be fair, this announcement from the streaming giant to the Oscar viewing world that they have a new contender to play with doesn’t show us anything, but it still was an unexpected tease. You’ll be able to see the Teaser Trailer at the end of this post, obviously, but first, let’s spend a bit of time speculating about the movie, shall we? The film is Scorsese’s return to the world of organized crime. The IMDb synopsis is as follows: “A mob hitman recalls his possible involvement with the slaying of Jimmy Hoffa.

Mary Poppins Returns boasts not just one, but two nonagenarians, a rare example of senior representation in mainstream Hollywood.
Warning: This Mary Poppins Returns article contains spoilers for delightful cameos made in the film, as well as the ending.
Mary Poppins Returns is a joyous celebration of many things: family, community, London, lamplighters, eccentric costuming, animation, movie musicals, and, of course, the original 1964 Mary Poppins. While in most ways the sequel lives up to the original, there is one notable way in which it surpasses it: in its representation and depiction of old people.
In watching Mary Poppins Returns, it struck me just how many older adult characters appeared in the film... While we’re still awaiting official confirmation on both the time travel and the five-year time-jump rumors, it’s becoming increasingly apparent that Avengers 4 isn’t going to stay linear in its storytelling, and actor Frank Grillo has now claimed that one particular blast from the past will include himself as the late Brock Rumlow, aka Crossbones.
On an episode of Ufc Unfiltered with Jim Norton and Matt Serra, the star let it slip that he’ll be making an appearance in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War sequel, albeit only in “flashback.” Though most cast members in next year’s release would think twice about dropping such spoilers, Grillo claimed that he’s allowed to say it since he won’t be in any other McU movies.
Obviously, there’s plenty of debate to be had over what this might mean. For one thing, it could be argued that this...

Joel McHale spoke about the recent cancellation of his Netflix talk show during a guest appearance on the “Jim Norton and Sam Roberts” show on SiriusXM.
The reason Netflix pulled the plug? “I don’t think they liked my sweaters,” McHale joked. “Obviously Netflix has trained their audience to binge watch, and we actually tried that, as well. But so far people aren’t watching Netflix that way.”
The cancellation came just months into the run of “The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale’s,” following only 19 episodes. On the talk show, the former “The Soup” host featured celebrity guests and discussed comical moments from television, internet videos and the entertainment world at large.
Now that the show is canceled, McHale, said he no longer has to watch some of the nonsense television that he normally covered such as the “Real Housewives” television series. Instead, he can spend time getting back into his Dostoyevsky books,...

T.J. Miller says he isn’t a “bully and petulant brat” — despite actress Alice Wetterlund’s accusations — but says he did play one on TV.
“I play an a–hole on TV, but I’m not a bully in real life, ever,” Miller said, while addressing the elephant in the room during his recent appearance on the “Jim Norton & Sam Roberts” show. The response was prompted by Wetterlund’s recent claims he was a “bully and petulant brat” on the set of “Silicon Valley” — which Miller says are inaccurate.
“It was not my experience that anyone was bullying her or mean to her,” Miller said. “Truthfully, I felt like it was difficult to work with her because she kept interrupting Zach Woods. And that was my perspective of it.” Miller went on to say the actress would interrupt Woods “during takes, and even when she was off camera.”

T.J. Miller fired back at his former “Silicon Valley” star Alice Wetterlund during an appearance on SiriusXM’s “Jim Norton & Sam Roberts” show (via Variety). The comedian responded to Wetterlund’s claim that male cast members on the HBO comedy series enabled his bullying on set by saying it was Wetterlund who was the difficult one on set.
Wetterlund called Miller “a bully and petulant brat” in a series of tweets published on July 18. The actress, who played Carla Walton on two seasons of “Silicon Valley,” had similar thoughts on her male co-stars. Wetterlund did not reference actors by name, but she said the “male cast members enabled [Miller] and were complicit in his unprofessionalism. “They can fuck off forever,” she said. “I don’t know if other women on the show had a different experience than me, but it was kind of a nightmare.”
