Bron Nicholls

Bron Nicholls was born in Melbourne but grew up in a small country town
where, at the age of twelve, she wrote her first story. She has been
writing ever since. She began her working life as an art teacher and
later taught dance and drama in a community school. She has also worked
as a nurse, gardener, set painter, director of a children's theatre,
factory hand and migrant English tutor. In 1975, Bron Nicholls gave up
teaching to write full time. She has had published several plays,
stories, a drama book and a novel, THREE WAY STREET (available in
Puffin).
