- Australian-born child actor from the age of two. His mother was a theatrical actress, singer and elocution teacher. He shared the stage with her in "The Trojan Women" at the age of seven. In the 1940's, Nettheim worked as a director and writer for radio drama. He also helped establish several important theatrical companies, before his move to the U.K. in 1956. Performed on stage at the West End and the Old Vic, in addition to work for the screen. Stayed in England until his return to Australia in 1977.
