Max Nekut already entered the film business in 1913 when he impersonated the title role in "König Menelaus im Kino" (1913). It lasted till 1925 till he acted again in front of the camera for "Ein Walzer von Strauss" (1925) and six years later he took part in his only sound film "Purpur und Waschblau" (1931).
