Bowen says she refrains from splurging despite her wealth. During an interview with the All Good Things With Jason Nash podcast, she says she won’t be “buying a private island” or making outrageous purchases.
One reason Bowen is careful with her cash is because she went through a divorce. She has seen how finances can be affected when a marriage dissolves.
“First of all, you and I are both California divorced,” she tells Jason Nash (via E! News). “That’s its own financial situation, and you roll with it. I can’t go into the details,...

What initially starts as a light-hearted look at YouTube star David Dobrik and his “Vlog Squad” evolves into a portrait that doesn’t quite know what to make of him and his enablers. The question of enablers is a fascinating one: an often symbiotic, sometimes parasitic relationship between co-hosts, fans, content creators, and businesses writing big checks. In happier times, Dobrik was known for his raw personal video blogs that merged into something like Jackass, involving dangerous and somewhat complex stunts without the supervision of lawyers as fellow YouTuber, actor Josh Peck, points out. With his “basic” (also Josh Peck’s words) personality, Dobrik acquired a rabid fanbase of pre-teens, teens, and college students. They like him—even more when he has the capability to instantly grant one young woman’s wish with $15,000, courtesy a dating app that paints itself as the feminist alternative to a well-known hookup service.

The YouTuber David Dobrik is driving his white Tesla through the verdant hills of suburban Los Angeles, explaining the challenges of selling thin-crust-style pizza in L.A., his assistant Natalie texting in the back seat and Billy Joel on pause on the stereo, when he abruptly stops talking. “I got this,” he says. “Don’t worry, guys.” He leaps out of the driver’s seat to help an elderly lady with a walker cross the street.

David Dobrik has been inactive on his primary vlog channel since the outset of the pandemic, though he has sporadically posted to a second channel, David Dobrik Too, where he just unveiled a new house tour as well as exciting plans for his long-running podcast, Views.
In his latest video, Dobrik shows off the new digs to members of the Vlog Squad, pointing out unique decor components, including a water fountain that shoots out Hawaiian Punch. Dobrik last showcased his previous $2.5 million Studio City home on Architectural Digest’s YouTube channel in June 2019, though the pricetag of his new mansion -- which he scooped up last August -- reportedly set him back a cool $9.5 million.
Dobrik also showed off a brand new studio space inside the home where he plans to shoot video installments of his long-running podcast, Views, which he co-hosts with best friend and fellow creator Jason Nash.

In the latest episode of his Views podcast, which he co-hosts with fellow Vlod Squad star Jason Nash, David Dobrik offered a blanket apology for any past works that have made viewers feel uncomfortable or unwelcome.
The statement arrives as many creators -- including Jenna Marbles, Shane Dawson, and even Dobrik’s ex-girlfriend, Liza Koshy -- are looking back on their past work with fresh eyes amid a racial reckoning about systemic inequality and police brutality precipitated by the killing of George Floyd at the end of May.
“Every video I make, every Instagram I post, everything I do -- I just want to cheer somebody up,” Dobrik said at the top of Views in a statement of sorts. “I want to make ‘em laugh, I want to make ‘em smile. I want them to share it with a friend. And I just want them to have a positive experience...

It’s still incredibly early days for Byte, but a cursory chat with top Vine stars of yesteryear reveals both high hopes an overwhelming sense of nostalgia for the six-second content platform.
And it’s not just a feeling in the air: Byte topped the app charts in the weekend of its debut, peaking at the No. 1 position on Apple’s ‘free’ app charts in the U.S. And according to data firm Sensor Tower, the app generated 1.3 million overall downloads in its first week -- with 912,000 installs hailing from the U.S., and the majority of the remainder coming from the U.K. and Canada.
Byte was founded by Vine co-founder Dom Hofmann in Nov. 2017 in the wake of Vine's demise. After persevering through various legal and financial hurdles, Byte -- a spiritual replication of its predecessor -- launched in beta last May and officially arrived in the app store on Jan.

David Dobrik doesn't just have 15.3 million subscribers on YouTube because he's hilarious - we also appreciate that he's cute Af. Despite his boyish charm and good looks, his dating history is far less extensive than you might think. For over two years, David was in a relationship with fellow YouTube celebrity Liza Koshy, and though they didn't become Instagram official until February 2016, they'd been quietly dating for months before that. In May 2016, David wished Liza a happy six-month anniversary, so it appears their relationship officially started in November 2015.
Unfortunately, the two announced the end of their adorable relationship in an emotional video titled "We Broke Up," which they posted in June 2018. In the video, they admitted that they'd actually broken up six months before posting the video. "It wasn't healthy for us to continue to be together, for now," David explained, later adding, "Liza broke up with me because she...

David Dobrik just got one step closer to realizing his late-night dreams.
The YouTube luminary said during a VidCon Q&a in 2018 that his ultimate career goal would be to become a late-night host. Given that his channel regularly spotlights a revolving cast of characters, Dobrik clearly has a knack for letting others shine. (He is also already the host of a comedy podcast called Views).
For the first time, Dobrik had the opportunity to share his ambitions with arguably one of the most prominent figures in the space, when he made his late-night debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday. Dobrik wasn’t on to promote anything in particular, but moreso to introduce himself to late-night viewers.
In addition to playing charades with Martin Short and The Roots rapper Tariq Trotter, talking about the time that he married the 70-year-old mother of fellow 'Vlog Squadder' Jason Nash,...

David Dobrik can add several more accolades to his burgeoning trophy chest. The 23-year-old has been named one of People magazine’s 'Sexiest Men Alive' -- an annual award that the lifestyle title has bestowed since 1985, beginning with Mel Gibson.
While this year’s flagship honoree -- and cover star -- is John Legend, People distributed other awards in numerous categories, including several fan-voted categories-- which is where Dobrik unsurprisingly shined. With the help of his fans, who “voted for the YouTube star in droves,” per People, Dobrik beat out the likes of Harry Styles, Shawn Mendes, Noah Centineo, and Jordan Fisher in the 'Sexiest Heartthrob' category..
After Dobrik was nominated, he put out a heavy call for fan support, with best friend Jason Nash publishing a vlog that plead for votes. The duo also titled an episode of their podcast, Views, David Dobrik: Sexiest Man Alive?

Now, Viacom -- which also owns Comedy Central -- is rolling out another reality series starring Jason Nash, the comedian and vlogger who is perhaps best known as a member of David Dobrik’s 'Vlog Squad'. As David Dobrik put it, "I'm good." It's been nearly two months since the YouTube star swiftly filed for divorce from pal Jason Nash's mom, Lorraine Nash. Just weeks earlier, David flew to Boston to propose and the two subsequently jetted off to Las Vegas to tie the knot, simultaneously achieving his goal of becoming Jason's stepdad. Fanjoy, the end-to-end merch platform that creates and distributes limited edition products in collaboration with top YouTube stars like Elle Mills, Jason Nash, and Tana Mongeau, is taking yet another step into physical retail.
Fanjoy has temporarily rented out a brick and mortar space at the Westfield Century City Mall in Los Angeles, where, every weekend for the next several weeks, it will host pop-up shops for different influencers. The first influencers to vend their wares at the store -- which will be open from July 20 to Sept. 17 -- are Sam Goldbach and Colby Brock, a creator duo perhaps best known for their explorations of haunted locales. Their merch line is dubbed Xplr, or ‘explore’.
The pop-up shop will feature new and exclusive merchandise from Goldbach and Brock -- who are repped by CAA, and who announced a brief hiatus from their channel in April after attempting to enact a ritual on a haunted hike.

For the past two weeks, YouTube has been doing damage control. After YouTuber Matt Watson discovered swarms of pedophilic comments on videos of young kids, major marketers pulled their ad spend, and YouTube has since been taking increasingly drastic steps to waylay the likely inevitable coming of Adpocalypse 2.0.
Now, in its latest and certainly most radical move, YouTube has disabled comments on tens of millions of videos that show kids who are under 18. The mass disabling affects channels posting videos “that could be subject to predatory behavior,” YouTube said in a Creator Blog post about the subject.
In action, those who could be subject to predatory behavior appears to be virtually everyone whose channel regularly has videos of kids. Even small channels, like actor Jason Nash’s family vlog, which has 220,000 subs, have been hit. In fact, YouTube says only “a small number of creators” will be able to keep...

Zane Hijazi is no stranger to outlandish celebrations to mark his myriad YouTube milestones.
Last year, for instance, to fete the explosive growth of his channel amid 100 videos, the Viner-turned-vlogger hosted an over-the-top photoshoot with his close friends and frequent collaborators -- including fellow YouTube heavyweights David Dobrik, Jason Nash, Gabbie Hanna, and Liza Koshy. He then plastered the group photo on a massive billboard in the heart of Los Angeles.
For his 200th video, which dropped today -- the 24-year-old is up to his same old tricks, with some new surprises in store. The SeatGeek-sponsored clip almost needs to be seen to be believed -- starting with a spoof of the musical Rent inspired by the antics of his 'Vlog Squad' creator posse that quickly transitions into a high-fashion photoshoot taking its cue from Vogue’s annual Met Ball. The flashy production value of these scenes is palpably extravagant,...

It looks like singer Sam Smith is back on the market! The 26-year-old was dating 24-year-old actor Brandon Flynn for the past nine months, but the couple has allegedly split, The Sun reported on Wednesday, June 27. Fans of Trisha Paytas got to see the painful effects of fat-shaming first hand on June 21, and it's completely devastating. The blonde bombshell YouTuber revealed that she and her boyfriend of almost a year Jason Nash broke up, and the reason why is just crushing. Trisha shared a video to her channel called "we broke up because I'm too fat," and it's hard to watch her tearful breakdown. "This isn't on him it really is on me because it's something I can't get past," she began, tears welling in her eyes. "He made a remark, he said it was a joke, but he said 'yeah me and Trisha are both fat.' I know that doesn't seem like a big deal, this is something I really can't let go. I get a lot of fat comments, and it sucks and everyone knows my insecurity especially Jason. I'm so sensitive about my weight,...

Yet another member of YouTube’s ‘Vlog Squad’ -- a crew of former Viners who have risen to renown via appearances in David Dobrik’s massively popular daily vlogs -- is furthering his foray into music.
Lithuanian-born hip hop artist and YouTube star Dom Zeglaitis has recruited fellow Squad members Jason Nash, BigNik, and Seth Francois for his latest track, appropriately dubbed "Vlog Squad." The song arrived on Valetine’s Day -- roughly two weeks after Scotty Sire, another Vlog Squad member, released the trending lyric video for his pop tune "Mister Glassman." In "Vlog Squad," the guys make the usual boasts about money and women, and Zeglaitis also manages to work in a clever promo for his online merch store Zeggoz.com.

There was no shortage of celebrity beefs in 2017.
Whether the fights were between co-stars or once close friends, the shade just kept coming. Let's take a look back at the most intense celebrity feuds of the year.
1. Blac Chyna vs. Rob Kardashian
Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian's split turned a new level of nasty when the former couple exchanged wild accusations against one another in a heated, Nsfw social media war in June. Kardashian shared graphic naked photos of Chyna, accused her of cheating on him multiple times and also accused her of being on drugs. Meanwhile, Chyna took to Snapchat to accuse Kardashian of also cheating on her and being physically abusive.
One month later, a judge granted Chyna's request for a temporary restraining order against Kardashian.
"Revenge porn is a form of domestic abuse," Chyna's attorney, Lisa Bloom, said during a press conference.

From Grace Helbig to Tyler Oakley to, most recently, vloggers David Dobrik and Jason Nash, countless YouTubers have thrown their hats into the podcasting ring in a bid to expand their burgeoning media empires. And now, an update by Apple -- which accounts for the vast majority of listening via its Podcast app -- could make these ventures vastly more lucrative.
An updated version of the Apple podcast app will soon give creators basic analytics, Recode reports, including the individual episodes that listeners are consuming as well as the parts of an episode that are being skipped or causing listeners to exit a stream. Until now, Apple has provided virtually no analytics aside from download counts. The company announced the update at its developer conference last week, and said that more information about analytics would be available later this year.

One of YouTube’s buzziest daily vloggers, 20-year-old David Dobrik, has launched a podcast alongside frequent collaborator Jason Nash -- a 43-year-old comedian and digital star in his own right. The premise of the podcast, which is called Views and plays on the age disparity of its hosts, is to “take [listeners] behind the scenes of their vlogs and show you what living the ‘YouTube life’ is really like,” according to a description in the iTunes store.
The first episode, titled YouTube Douchebags, premiered last Thursday and is already drumming up massive audiences. Right now, Views is standing firmly at the No. 3 slot on the iTunes charts, behind category leaders The Daily (The New York Times’ political podcast chronicling the Trump era) and S-Town (from the makers of the seminal true crime phenomenon Serial). As the chart regularly fluctuates, however, Views has reached the No. 1 and No. 2 spots in recent days.

The latest movie within the so-called “influencer film” genre has arrived. Fml, a road trip comedy that stars Viners Jason Nash and Brandon Calvillo as fictionalized versions of their social media personae, is now available for digital download from iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon.
In Fml, Nash and Calvillo come together to travel across the country. Their goal is simple: Create collaborative videos with all of the creators they meet during their journey, while simultaneously ironing out the issues in their personal and professional lives.
Fml contains several of the qualities that have become commonplace within the world of influencer films. For one, its stars are engaging in a form of self-parody that will seem familiar to anyone who checked out Internet Famous. In addition, there will be plenty of cameos from Nash and Calvillo’s colleagues in the online video world, with YouTube star Bart Baker’s turn as...

Friends and coworkers of Greg and Sarah Moyers, the Missouri couple that died while driving home from Disney World with their two young daughters on Sunday, remember the parents as "selfless and kind and completely devoted to their children." After spending several days on a dream vacation to Florida's Disney World and Universal Studios, the family of four was driving to the beach when a vehicle drifted into their lane. The car forced them off the road, causing the family to smash into a tree. The impact killed Greg and Sarah, and sent their daughters Hailey, 13, and Sophia, 8, to the hospital with severe injuries.

On October 7th, Vine stars Jason Nash and Brandon Calvillo will embark on a journey, and as with most road trips, they’ll encounter plenty of oddball characters along the way. Nash and Calvillo are the stars of Fml, an “influencer film” that will also feature Bart Baker, Jimmy Tatro, Ry Doon, and several other online video stars.
In Fml, Nash and Calvillo will play friends who look to advance their respective careers by travelling across the country and creating video collaborations with everyone they meet along the way. Both stars will riff on their respective social media careers; Calvillo’s character will be a young and immature teenager, while Nash’s will be far too old to be in his line of work.
